Was trying to find a packable, sturdy but flattering rain hat to go on holiday, and disliked all the "pudding basin" ones online, as I do not find short brims either flattering or comfortable. Then I found this fabulous, packable and highly flattering hat, and all for under £8!! It packs easily, the brim is wide and can be turned up at the back when not raining as it makes it a bit more fashionable. I did actually waterproof it again as I do with all new outdoor clothing, and adjusted the toggle for a perfect fit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I don't have a huge head, 6 3/4 in old money, and this was a nice fit. If you're like Jeeves and take about a size 9, then this isn't for you. But otherwise it's a decent quality sun hat. I ought to add 'probably' because I haven't work it on active service yet. If you're reading this in five years time then the summer of 2024 wasn't great.

Just bought my second one of these hats - pale one for summer wear and dark for winter: they keep both sun and rain off. The winter one is particularly useful - as a walking stick user, I can't manage an umbrella as well and the hat keeps the rain off my head and face and, because it's both adjustable and has a strap, it doesn't blow off (umbrellas are pretty useless here anyway, as it always seems to be windy when it rains!). Haven't tried it in a prolonged downpour, but then nearly everything gets soaked through then anyway - the hat should give me time to find shelter, at least.

I bought this for my husband to wear on holiday. The hat is made from a lovely quslity fabric and is generously sized. It covers the back of the neck well, folds down compactly and fits into the carry pouch supplied easily.

The hat is really tight but I had to use it on the day of delivery. Otherwise, I may have returned it for a bigger one. It packs neatly into itself, which is good.

Ok for the price but it came quite creased.Neatly folded into a circular pouch. Have not tested how waterproof it is yet. Nice on.

Very useful to carry on longer walks so don't get caught out with those burst of sunshine.Easy to pack

I was impressed with the storage arrangememts , sizing and capability to to tighten the hat around your head. It fitttd well and looks ok. It folds down and neatly attachable to your rucksack.Although it was really light weight, I personally found my head got really hot when walking- it was not that breathable.
