Easy install 10 minutes, if you do not install the back up camera! It’s not as laggy as more expensive options. Great unit for the price!

As soon as I installed it, the system started over heating and the backing came off and the wires to the screen ripped off so it's useless. It's my 4th time doing this installation so I know what I'm doing. This is the only unit to ever start getting extremely hot to the touch. Each time I've bought the cheap one and never had a problem. I bought the 8 core and not even 12 hours later it's defective. Kind of a bummer ya know.

Easy install looks great the microphone stinks but I purchased a aftermarket one for like 20 bucks and made it much better

I was having trouble connecting my iPhone to the radio in a less powerful model. Which is not what I want! Once I changed over to this model it has worked flawlessly! I think we should have all models that can perform as this one does.

Very easy to install! Everything plugged into the old harness on my 2007 Corolla, but I did have to run the new mic. I was able to use my old backup camera as well but I had to change a “Backsource” setting (no, not “backup”, “backsource”). I also had to paint my old vents black to match the trim.I was very hesitant because of the lack of reviews but for that price point, I figure I’d give it a try. I only really need it for the CarPlay feature, but YouTube is nice when we do burger drive ins like sonic.My HUUUGE gripe would be the glass. They installed the glass the wrong direction. Basically, if youre wearing polarized glasses, it’s a completely black screen. If you tilt your head, you can see it slightly, which is what I do in traffic. Both my Oakley’s and Blenders black out the screen. I have sensitive eyes so I need polarized glasses, so I’m debating on returning it.Besides that, if you’re a non-polarized glasses wearer, it’s a great unit (so far, only had it for two weeks). Audio is clean, video is crisp (when you can see it), connects quick, boots fast, and Siri reads texts fine (could be louder).

Very impressed for the money, installation was pretty simple, direction was a little vague but almost plug and play. Almost too many features for me onlt wanted to have blue tooth in my car so it’s a. Major upgrade. USB ports may be a little hokey I will try a better cord but over all for the money you can’t beat this !

The install and wiring for this unit in my '07 Corolla went pretty seamlessly, and I loved all the extra gadgets it comes with, but I was dismayed by the performance once I started driving. A few things that I missed in other reviews:1. The screen DOES switch brightness when the headlights are turned on and off (brighter during the day to see better, darker at night to minimize glare), and you can customize how dark or bright each one is, but unfortunately the darkest setting still is a bit bright at night compared to all the other lights in the dash. If using CarPlay and your navigation app supports a "night mode" that can help.2. A big downer: The polarization of the glass screen is oriented so that the screen is completely blacked out when wearing polarized sunglasses. I tried multiple pairs with no luck. I wish I could just pop off the glass and flip it around to fix this issue, but of course that would destroy the entire unit. You either need to find an old pair of crap sunglasses with no polarization, or just can't wear any if you want to see the screen.3. The "radio" is a separate app in this android-powered device. It's very similar to a tablet. When running CarPlay, you must exit the carplay "app" on the system, navigate clunkily to the radio app, which isn't very straightforward, and then adjust it to your liking. Reverse to get back to CarPlay. You can't control the radio from within CarPlay itself like other cars can, which makes it much harder to use and keep your eyes on the road.4. Even if you do use the radio, the signal fluctuates constantly and seems to be jumping between signal qualities. It's too finicky. Every power line and bridge brings massive fluctuations to the sound quality and there is constant scratches and blips in the sound from outside interference. It's almost like the radio is too finely tuned (and yes, I did check to make sure my antenna was correctly connected). This is unfortunate, because when you're sitting still in traffic, it sounds GREAT! As a bonus, the radio will randomly switch back to the first station it acquires every few minutes, giving a "TRAFFIC" message on the screen first. Who knows what that means. This gets much worse once you navigate back to CarPlay or other apps on the system and makes the radio almost unusable.I'm bummed about these issues, because without them I'd be totally content with this product. The screen is huge and beautiful, the glass touch screen is nice and responsive, the trim lining up with the car is great, the sound quality is MUCH better than the original Corolla head unit, and the install was so much easier than getting a separate mount and head unit. Unfortunately the radio bugs, brightness, screen polarization and clunky Android UI are just too much for me to overlook. I looked for a way to contact the seller through Amazon to see if maybe a firmware update could at least fix the radio problem, but the seller isn't contactable on Amazon (and Amazon's help section just says to return it) and they left no seller contact info in the box.Overall, bummed out and will be trying a different manufacturer next.
