SHARP Laser etched damascus
I bought this as a second knife set gift for my son "the chef". I had ordered a smaller set that were good but no bread knife or block. Love this set! Beautiful handles, well balanced, and a solid block that has a unique look. The damascus is only laser etched onto blades and is faint to the eye. It does catch more in the light. BUT they work great! Easily chopping his way to beautiful meals for everyone to enjoy! He did cut his finger already so beware of the actual sharpness of blades. They'll get you if you aren't careful-

Feels good in my hand!
Of course these are very sharp! I’ve never had knives that cut so easily. But they are also beautiful! I love the white handles -so different. I don’t have too much counter space and always kept knives in a drawer. So I wanted something that would really look nice.They are easy to get in and out of holder. I like the way they fit in my hand. I’ve only had them a week but they seem very durable. I know some knife sets run in the $1000’s and I am not a gourmet cook, although I do enjoy cooking. This is definitely not a run-of-the-mill knife set. I definitely recommend it. No cons!

It arrived in its original box not postage amazon box the amazon tape was hanging off lucky No one stole it..was hoping the Damascus would be more visible you can feel it slightly and the cutting edge.

Very nice so far. Very sharp. We shall see how they wear over time. Block came with built in sharpener system.
