UPDATED OCT. 23, 2019:The mounting tab(s) will soon break away and the unit will begin leaking at the insert. Superglue is the easy fix. Wait 24 hrs to cure best. Rub or spray food grade silicone, or just cooking oil. Insert and screw back down. Good to go. Except for this, the only drawback compared to Waterpik's own handle is that this hose is softer and thus, the pressure is a little lower and it doesn't exactly seat well into its storage space.In the 3rd month, one of the plastic screw down tabs snapped off. Being loosely inserted, water just gushed out from the bottom of the appliance. Bought this June 28. Received it around July 6. The little tab for the screw broke October 19.

So my waterpik hose broke .. husband tried taping, etc. to no avail. I threw it in the trash and rather than spend as much again I opted for cheaper travel type - which I hated! Unbeknownst to me, my husband again got out of recycle bin and said all he needed was medical hose .. so I went on my favorite "get it all" site, Amazon ... searched medical hose and didn't get anywhere but then typed in waterpik hose and up came exactly what I needed. So ordered, came quickly, installed easily .. and I'm a happy flosser!!!

I had my Waterpik plastic handle and hose too near my curling iron, and, you guessed it! I melted part of the hose. I would have never thought about just buying a replacement part, but I ran across one on Amazon. Hallelujah! It took a phillips head screw driver - a couple of twists off and then on, and it was completely operational in a few minutes! I would have hated to throw the unit into the recycle bin...and now I don't have to!

If it's not authentic it sure fools me. Perfect replacement and easy to replace. Just need a small screwdriver, don't overtighten. As for those that complain about the hose being softer and smaller- I'm glad it is softer as my original hose broke for being too stiff and the O.D. of both hoses is .162" so they are equal to the thousandth of an inch.

As others said in the reviews, the replacement hose limits the pressure due to design flaw(or feature?), but increasing the pressure seems to do the job. It fit without any issues and I have not seen any leaks.

This replacement handle and hose easily replaces an old and leaking one on your Water Pik flosser. This is the second replacement I've installed on my wife's heavily-used unit over the past 10 years. Works well and renews the unit.

Easy to attach to our Waterpic and works great. The original tubing broke so this has extended the life of our Waterpic, makes me feel great that we didnt have to trash the whole thing and add to the landfills! Thanks.

This replacement part fit perfectly and was very easy to install. I have had the base unit a long time and it's great to be able to replace this part as it will wear out over time. Overall, the unit it is a great piece of equipment and has been very beneficial in maintaining excellent oral care.

Look at my picture and you will see the attachment has the flow hole half blocked restricting water flow. This is the reason for all the complaints about flow being way less. There is an easy solution. Take your original off it's hose and use it instead of this one. Just make sure you do it the exact same way as original and use the clamp ring on outside of original hose.. Then this handle works great!! I just wish they made the button an on button instead of a pause one. I don't like having to hold the button to get water flow happening.

Started using it two weeks ago and 3 days ago the stop button that controls the flow seized in the down position. This continued to happen for a few days so I pryed it open and worked the button loose. Reassembled it and it worked for 2 days before it seized again. Sometimes it does open up by itself after a few hours but to use it on your teeth in one episode it locks up and you can't get a flow.Sorry but I wouldn't recommend this unit.

So far so good. It’s very easy to install, and I didn’t feel any lost of water pressure when using my Waterpik. I did notice that during re-installation, there was a tiny gasket that fell out from the original water connector, so I re-used it on the new one. The gasket restricts the water flow by half, hence creating pressure.

THought this would be a good replacement for original wsterpik which had started to leak. It looks good, but after many days of use there continues to be a very strong chemical taste that is highly offensive to the point that I may return as a defective product. Bought two, only tried one and don't like it at allAlso, unlike the original waterpik, the switch is not a regular on/off but rather you have to push the button to turn off - this means that when you start the water flosser, water goes everywhere unless you remember to push the button - not good design

Used it for two nights. It leakes water from buttom of the handle. I noticed it after I was done cteated a puddle under the hos handle base.I used it again and saw water dripping from the connection of handle to the hose even after turining off until the little amount in the handle part drains.So the problem is dripping during use plus about one table spoon water drip on the vanity counter after each use, unless you drain the tank and hose each time.Besides the above problem it has these Pros: easy to install and the hose is softer and more flexible and it matches the original on waterpik Wp-100And the nozzles also fit.However the health of the product materials or endurance is not known.
