Well made product and does the job

Odred this to get the wasp powder up into the eaves above a top floor window.Worked well, we had to fill the bulb bit halfway before it would puff the powder properly. It was a bit fiddly but worked well.Unscrew the little valve bit on the end it will work better.

Does what it says actually stops wastage

Had a wasps nest and hoped this could get the powder into their doorway it didn't, this doesn't work well when trying to deliver the powder at height and slightly upwards plane. Had to get the professionals in to do the job.

I am delighted with this product which is solidly made of brass and thick rubber. I use it for spraying diatomaceous earth use by small scale chicken keepers in the fight against red mites. It directs a stream of fine powder into the nooks and crannies of both hen house and the birds themselves. I have recommended it to a special interest group on Face Book. The only criticism I have is that filling it is slightly fiddly. The manufacturer shows the bulb being filled through a funnel but in my use I find the powder just sits in the neck. It only takes a few minutes to fill prodding the powder through the neck with a skewer. I prefer to wear a good quality mask as a fine cloud of powder is produced.

Bought to deal with a wasp nest in the loft over a shed. If the nest can be seen I prefer to use a foam aerosol as these are both effective and can be used at a safe distance so you can get clear before the wasps catch on to what is happening. In this case however I could not get to the nest, but only the entry/exit point on the outside of the shed. Seems to be effective when used with Rentokil wasp powder (about a fiver also from Amazon - order at the same time). The only downside is that the shaft of this puffer is only about a foot (30cm) long, which means that you are working very close to the wasps and they're not daft. Work at dusk (when the activity is less) and be very quick - a facemask is also helpful.Two downside - the description says that a sachet of powder is included - it isn't, see recommendation above. And secondly the illustrations indicate a filling funnel is included - again, it isn't, but not a problem if you buy a puffer pack of powder such as the Rentokil. In fact, buy a puffer pack and you might decide that you don't really need this applicator at all!

Wasps were entering between rain gutter and facia board. I couldn't access the entry point from above. This powder duster allowed me to spray upwards between the gutter and facia board. Not very long tube so you need to get close, spray quickly and then move swiftly away from the area. Works well and got rid of wasps.

Bought this to try and get powder to the entrance to a wasp nest hidden in a roof. The puffer comes without any instructions so had to guess if you put a little powder in the bulb, fill it half way or to the brim. Trying it out regardless of the load it produced a puff of dust, like cigarette! No powder projected whatsoever. Tried it in various angles, different loads and using 2 hands to get max. Pressure, but it never made more than a cloud of dust. Usual efficient Amazon returns service, thankfully.

Très pratique pour pulvériser de la terre de diatomée dans le poulailler et au plus près de la peau des poules (sous les ailes). La tige est suffisamment longe pour bien passer sous les plumes sans devoir tenir la poule (j'attends le soir qu'elles soient perchées pour la nuit). Le remplissage est facile, il faut aller très doucement pour éviter de boucher l'orifice.
