My 9-year-old husky fell down the stairs last Sunday and hurt himself. I went online in search of a product to help make the hardwood steps not as slippery and found this tape. It is awesome! I installed them yesterday and he is now going up and down with such ease. Once I got the hang of the installation process, all 15 steps were done rather quickly (masking tape is your friend!). Make sure the area is cleaned well and dried completely. I didn't have any issues with air bubbles or corners not sticking (handy little roller it comes with). Very happy with this purchase!

We have a new home and ladders ( like library ladders) to get to the very top shelves of the 12' ceilings in our closets . We were slipping and I was fearful of falling due to the nature of the ladder. We purchased this product and put on the steps which took no time at all and they are incredible. Great product

We just moved into a new house with very slick wood stairs. Our senior dogs were really struggling and one of them has fallen several times on the slippery stairs. These treads are almost invisible and work very well.

I bought these following my husbands fall down the stairs which resulted in a cracked collar bone and massive bruising. They work very well and are relatively invisible. The stairs are much safer now.

I put these on my mom's stairs as they are hardwood and she wears socks in the house. It prevents slipping and falls up or down the stairs for an 87 year old.

Bought these as our dog was having trouble going down the stairs (going up wasn't a problem). He kept slipping and crashing onto the floor below. Once we put these runners on, our dog was a little reluctant to go down; we think mostly out of fear of slipping, but after a day or two, he's regained his confidence and goes up and down without any trouble.These runners weren't hard to install, but make sure your stairs are clean of any dirt. You don't want any bubbles or little bits of dirt stuck underneath.Measure exactly where you want them positioned because the runners are very sticky. Once you put it down, it's actually pretty hard to adjust and that's before you even roll them.As for appearance, you will definitely know there's something on your stairs. I wouldn't say they're unattractive or anything of the sort. They're just there.Can't judge longevity or if the corners will eventually curl up as they've only been down for about a week, but so far so good even after a good vacuum and floor washing. Will come back and change my review if anything should happen.
