Rowlinson 4ft 4-Seater Pressure Treated Wood Picnic Bench

Very good price for a sturdy picnic bench. Looked all over the internet for a bench like this. This was the best price we found. Easy to put together, took about an hour. As its pressure treated I have left it as it is and will let it weather naturally. Very pleased, it feels like it will last many years

Warps after a month and thin timbers

This came flat packed. Took two of us 3 hours to makr but had a go on a secind one with a power scewdriver cutting the time down to 2 hours. Really sturdy table, beautiful colour with a small amount of knots. Everything lined up perfectly. Only qualm was one of the screws had lost its groove therefore needed to find a substitute.

The photograph advertising the product on the Amazon site (even at 27/07/2015) does NOT match the item despatched & received! It is clearly not the same model! .... on the amazon website photo attached here (as indeed is the same photo as when I decided to order the product), there are two diagonal supports which run from directly from under the centre of the table top and attach to the centre of each end support piece (which also support the seats). However, on the on the model I have received and assembled, the construction is somewhat different, and, giving the manufacturer due credit - the product photo on the box received was the same as the actual product (photo attached) - as one can see, the construction & assembly of the two diagonal supports mentioned above is completely different to that advertised by amazon!Assembling the table was a nightmare! Although the instructions were explicit and clear to follow, I started to assemble according to the instructions.... but when I came to screw the bench pieces & table-top pieces in place, I discovered that all the pre-drilled holes were out of alignment by approx. 6cm (3 cm each end) which resulted in me having to drill new holes at each end in each of the six table-top pieces, and all of the four bench-top pieces! I disassembled the end pieces, and reassembled the other way round but the outcome was worse...To cut a long story short - the table was finally assembled, though I have had to go out and buy some plastic wood filler to tidy up the holes caused by the pre-drilled holes of the table-top and bench pieces.Reflecting on the kit supplied, I believe that if the underneath end-to-end support (to which the diagonal pieces are attached) had been 6cm. longer, then the new drilling which I had to do would have been avoided. It's "untidy!"On a more positive note - the table is solid, and the size I was looking for, so I have decided to keep it and not complain (apart from this review sent to me at your request). I have noticed from other reviews submitted, that others have experienced similar problems with the alignment of the pre-drilled holes.Last point that I'd like to mention, now that the table has been assembled and out in the garden for nearly 2 months - and several showers later - there is a green mould developing in surface places, where the grain is in the wood, unlike anywhere else I have seen in my garden... I would imagine, spores from the origin of manufacture. Though the wood is alleged to have been "treated", I will have to apply a coating of suitable preservative, I think, to make the table last longer.All-in-all this is NOT the high standard that I would have expected from amazon.com, and I am extremely disappointed!

not the best of manufacturing , as screw holes do not match up and one of the bolt screws completely threaded rendering it completely useless, and no spares included very disappointed
