Description
- Sow from Feb onwards, on the surface of a good well draining damp seed compost and lightly cover, preferably with vermiculite.
- Germinate at 64-68F. Place in a propagator or seal in a polythene bag to maintain moisture. Germination can be slow at 14-21 days.
- Excess moisture, deep sowing or low temperatures will cause seeds to rot.
- Transplant seedlings into individual pots to grow on when large enough to handle and grow on in cooler well ventilated conditions. Plant out only after all danger of frost has passed.
