I tried this product for the first time just a few days ago and have already ordered more. Everyone has particular needs, and this product addressed mine perfectly. I wanted something I could make a rigid push mold out of for embossing textures into extruded polystyrene foam insulation board. Softer products and more brittle products (polymer clays/plasters) weren't able to take the pressure. By using a softer material to make my original pattern/master from (XPS foam), painting it to seal it, and brushing it liberally with mineral oil, I was able to make various brick and floor tile patterns that I could push into the softened plastic. After the plastic sets for about 20 minutes, it becomes a nice hard plastic. Sometimes I get lucky and my XPS foam original pops right back out. Other times I have to pick it out, but that's okay, because the originals are waste anyway. A quick wash with dish detergent to remove the mineral oil, and the plastic push mold is ready to go. I don't know yet how well it picks up fine details, but for my embossing purposes, the various ridges that form my design are perfect for pressing into foam, which then pops right back out again and is ready for painting. A 16 oz container was enough for me to make eight 2.5" inch square, 3/8" thick molds, with material to spare if I had been more sparing. True to advertising, the used plastic melts down as well. For re-melting, I boil a small pot of water (in an expendable pot) with the used material already in the water. I keep boiling it until the whole piece turns clear. This is a bit slower than melting the pellets, but it doesn't take more than a few minutes. So far, I've found that if I've got paint on the melted plastic, it just swirls right in and doesn't seem to affect its usability at all. I'll definitely be buying more over time.

I love this stuff. Had it for a while and decided to finally try it out. I made my first pair of doll shoes. Will be better next time, this was my first try. It melts very fast. Found putting it & water in microwave for abt minute and half melts to the texture & firmness I could easily use. Can be pressed flat & molded around the dolls foot. Could also cut it with scissors! Didn't use the ice cool down method tho but found it stayed pliable for some time & just dunking in hot water for a few seconds would soften it right back up. I know this stuff could have hundreds of uses later also. I could use a sharpie on it while still pliable & it also holds paint & nail polish well with a coat of liquitex gloss. My next pair, will use a different technique for the shoes but getting used to how it works was amazing. It does dry EXTREMELY hard if that's what you need. I only used abt a table spoon & half for this project. What I like the most is there's NO WASTE. Just let leftovers harden and put back in the jar. Highly recommend this product.

I bought this to help with a pesky bear who loves to get into my garden. He ignores it. It may be working with smaller critters though as I am not seeing mole holes anymore.

This has been working good. It has kept deer and armadillo away from my garden

Definitely kept the animals away from the flower bed.Sometimes gets annoying especially when its windy outside

Even though this unit has several settings, it appears to only have 2 functioning. Also, it is going off even when there aren't animals in sight. The rabbits just walk right past it.
