This light is just what I was hoping for except that it turns on by itself, often at dusk. It features adjustable brightness and even fun colors. And the remote is convenient.Workaround: cover the top to prevent it from turning on at dusk.

This is a fantastic dupe for a solar lantern offered by a high-end company. Love that it can be set to automatically come on in the evening.

I really liked the lamp, but ended up returning it simply because it was bigger than I expected. If it were smaller I would have given it a great review!

We love this lamp, it's a lot of fun with its luminescent color-fade pattern, and lots of good colors. The first night I put it out on the camp table, I had charged it, tested it, and (I thought) turned if off. Just as the sunset light dimmed, the thing came roaring to life, casting an eerie glow across the campsite. The family was delighted with the "ghostly" experience. We set it to what we wanted and enjoyed it all evening. I turned it off with the remote, and (off means off, right?) and the next night it again came alive at dusk. We love that this thing has a mind of its own.I guess I should break down and read the directions, ha ha. It's not hard to figure out, though. There is a toggle switch on the bottom which runs through all of the choices. The remote works fine, but apparently "off" does not mean off when using the remote. Solar charging works great, it looks cute with the wood-looking handle, is a great size for a family table, makes a good nightlight at a camp area, and we hope this will be with us for a long time. I do wish the controls weren't on the bottom, including the cord plugin, and it would be nice to have a little side pocket for the remote.

The colors work great on this light. The flickering candle don't work well. To me if the light was cheaper then one could accept some short comings. So to me it did not meet my expectations.

This lamp is quite large but still lightweight. The actual lamp itself is a small module at the base of the diffuser. The large diffuser works great for casting a soft light.The various lighting modes are handy depending on the mood you're going for. Works well for camping or backyard dining.Why dock two stars? Definitely some QC issues. The remote doesn't work (yes, removed the plastic battery tab). The light will turn on by itself if held upside down but may/may not turn on with the button press.I ended up disassembling it and fixing some loose wiring which seemed to be interfering with the power switch. Overall, a nice idea, but quality is questionable.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with the size of this lamp. I have a large deck, and this lamp sitting on my deck table provides a lovely glow. It's beautiful and very subtle.I like that you can change between different modes and lighting effects with the included remote. That's super handy when on the deck relaxing. I keep my remotes for my outdoor decorations in a little basket by my deck door. It seems to be holding up fairly well to the weather so far. When a storm blows in, I do plan on taking it off of the table and putting it in a more protected spot, as I don't know if it's heavy enough to keep from blowing.I would order this item again. Everything functions as you would expect and I love the lighting effect it provides. I'm going to even grab it to take it camping next time!

I was looking for an easy-to-use light for our outdoor seating that would provide a glow. This looked like a good possibilty.The Good:-Having a USB and Solar charge is a plus. This provides a lot of options.-The candle flicker is our favorite options so far. Nice soft light with a romantic touch.-Clean and elegant lines.-Goes well with outside decor.-The remote makes use easy.Wishlist:-A place to attach the remote on the handle or bottom would be a plus. It is a little thing that could be easily lost.This product exceeded my expectations.
