Product Care Instructions | You will want to check with the Almanac to find out when the best time to plant seeds in your area. You may also want to check with ACCU Weather to find out what temps will be in your area. Keep in mind that these are guides. Gardening is not an exact science. As my favorite gardener, Bob Webster, likes to say, "Gardening is a lot like gambling, only the odds are worse." |

Work well!
Most of seeds germinated and now the little plants are almost 2" and doing well. A+++

Did germinate
A few of the seeds did germinate after a while and still small though but I'm guessing its because of the climate that I'm in. These would do much better in a warm environment or maybe if you have a climate control greenhouse. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the seeds as much as as stated the area and because it did eventually germinate I'll give it 4 stars ππ

Zero germination rate and poor customer service
I tried to germinate six of the seeds via the paper towel method. I soaked the seeds overnight then placing them between moist paper towels. The paper towels were then placed in a ziplock bag for moisture control. After about ten days none of the seeds had germinated.I then contacted the seller directly via e-mail asking how they recommend starting Papaya seeds. The answer I got back was βLet's do it the way nature does. Plant in soil about 1/2 deep. Keep the soil at 75. Will take 2 to 4 weeks to germinate. Keep moist.βOn April 3rd I planted 12 seeds in a seed tray; on a seedling heat mat with thermostat control. I covered the seed tray with a ziplock bag for moisture control. As of today none of the seeds have germinated.Followed up with the seller again. Answer back "You did not follow my suggestions because you did everything I say NOT to do. Go to our website and read the article on germination tips. They are way to wet. "I had planted the seeds 1/2" deep in potting mix (not "soil"); the soil was kept moist (not too wet) and within the temperature range (for Texas).Zero germination and Zero customer help.
