These were part of a birthday gift for my husband. He is so pleased with them. I got him the other set for Christmas and decided to get this one. He has them on the side of the frig where he can chose the spices he wants as he cooks. They are delicious seasonings. The tins are easy to use. The magnets make storing them convenient. I wish there were even more to chose from. Excellent!

European Seasonings Gourmet Gift Set... I bought this because of the variety of spices in this group. Good herbal flavors but too much salt. I really didn't want ANY salt, thus the desire for a variety of seasonings for flavor. But SALTY comes through. I guess I didn't read the ingredients carefully enough. I love the dispensers and the various flavors I've tried. I have only tried three of the six; my enthusiasm waned after I realized the sodium content. The dispensers are wonderful and I have them on the side of my frig. Alas, the herbal seasoning was most important. My search continues...

This is a great collection of spices. The Portuguese Piri Piri is a little spicy and has a variety of flavors mixed in that compliment both meat and veggies. I have also tried it very successfully in a pasta dish with a cream sauce. I have used the French Onion spice on meats, veggies, salad, and in soups. The taste of Greece has a lemony garlic oregano flavor and I have used it several times on different types of pasta. My wifes's favorite is the Tuscan Lemon Rosemary seasoning. She uses it on chicken, pork and pasta tossed with olive oil.The spices appear to have high quality ingredients, and smell incredible. They come in metal containers that are magnetic on the bottom so they stick to metal surfaces like stoves and barbecues. The spices are packed in plastic bags inside the cans so they stay fresh until you are ready to open and use them.If you like to cook and try new flavors, this set will make a great addition to any spice cabinet. They also would be a fun gift for someone who enjoys cooking and trying an international flair.

As soon as you open the plastic bag containing these seasoning tins, you are hit with the wonderful scent of all the spices. You receive six little round metal tins. About 2 1/2 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches high. Each one has the seasoning flavors of a different European country or region. The tops come off and inside are sealed bags of the seasonings that you need to open and pour into the tin. Once you’ve done that you replace the lid. The lid turns and there are openings to shake out a little or pour out a larger amount. The bottoms of the tins have magnets so you can stick the tins on your stove, fridge or stack them on top of each other. The only negative I can see is that the tins are thin and dent easily. I look forward to trying all of these and they would make a good gift for a hostess, housewarming or your favorite cook.

I'm not really one for "fancy" cooking, or much cooking at all - these spices are making me look good. What a fun way to travel the world! I put them on the top of the microwave, in plain sight so I can remember to use them. I love the magnetic tins, it makes them easy to keep handy. The spices are packaged in plastic bags inside the tins, you can still smell them a bit and they all smell terrific. The top of the tin rotates to either shake or pour, be careful to close it completely before hanging it back up or the spices will spill...ask me how I know. So far I have tried the Tuscan Lemon Rosemary and the Taste of Greece, both are delicious. They add an elegant dimension to what little cooking I do, it's lots of fun to experiment.
