I just started making jewelry and needed something to stop my beads from rolling all over the place. In my search I found this one and bought it. I love this bead mat. The beads stay put. You can lay out your design and complete it without frustration of rolling beads. So if you are in the need of a bead mat buy this one. You will love it.

I finally decided to dip my toes into beading on a cross stitch piece. I ordered this after seeing a YouTuber talk about it. I’m so glad I did! This made beading very easy. Nice and sticky so my beads stayed put. Highly recommend

This E.P.I.C. little Grey sticky mat for beads is the most awesome product to be invented, and is a game changer. Not only does it catch and hold your beads, but other parts and pieces for a variety of types of projects that you don't want things to roll or slide.The mat is correctly measured in the description, and is adequate. I needed a larger space to be catching loose beads, findings, my pen and short metal ruler, so I now have 3 side by side, making a very nice space for everything.One of the most awesome things about the beads mat is that once it gets a bit dirty you just wash it off and air-dry. When dry, badabing-badaboom it's fresh as new again.I sometimes use the tiniest drop of Original Dawn dish soap if any parts or my hands were a bit greasy. It helps cut the grease so when it's air dry it's good as new, because I had a problem with it not being quite as sticky before I thought to use the dish detergent.The instructions say to leave the clear backing on the mat, but I like to stick it straight to the plastic tray I have all my stuff on while making jewelry.

This is definitely a sticky mat, for both good and bad. My beads don't go rolling around, which is great. But it also makes it a bit more work than I'd like to pick up the beads off of it, since they stick so well to it. Also, as others have stated, be aware that this thing is TINY. No problem, if that fits what you want, but just be aware that it is very small.

This is my second one, bought first one 8 years ago. Great for keeping beads from going all over.

I was really excited for this bead mat, and it's pretty good. Definitely has some stick to it, holds everything in place. There was a slight smell to mine, as other reviewers mentioned, but I find it quite mild and not overwhelming at all.Unfortunately, there are patches in my bead mat (fairly small overall, but still present) where air bubbles seem to have gotten trapped in the mat substance during manufacture, and they're squisher than the rest of the mat. You can see them when the mat is held to the light. Said air bubbles mostly don't break the surface, but I suspect that with rough usage or over time, the surface over the mat may be punctured and they could cause problems.

I am very pleased with my purchase of this BeadSmith XTL-9937 Large Sticky Bead Mat. It is just slightly bigger than an A4 8.5 x 11" U.S. Standard paper (see photos) and fits perfectly into my storage containers for beading. It has wonderful measurement guides and slightly indented channels like a bead board on one side and a dotted measuring guide on the flip side which is also sticky.Clearly this piece is not adhesive, but it will certainly keep beads from rolling off and on to the floor or your work surface. It will also keep the secure against eventual bumps when moving from one work area to another or putting things away for the day.I'm not sure how someone can say it was distorted when they tried to get it out of the packaging - the packaging was not difficult at all to remove. You'd have to forcibly rip it out of the package to damage it. I can understand, however, that if this was delivered to an extremely hot area how it might get very sticky, but being the material it is, I would wait until it cools down inside before peeling off the protective covering which is on both sides of the mat.You will definitely need something underneath to support this mat if you will be moving it from place to place with a work in progress on top of it. It is very flexible and will not remain stiff or flat during a move.I hesitated so much buying this, but I am so happy I did. I think it will make my beading life a whole lot easier for sure!

Really neat item. It is sticky on both sides, and comes with protective film on both sides, but can be replaced with transparency type film if you lose the original protective film. Small items really stick to the mat.You will be surprised by how thin (3 mm thick) and small (4x6 index card) item is, but serves its purpose.Be careful--plain paper can really get stuck on mat and be difficult to remove. Works best on items with a slick surface (no hole beads, metal, plastic etc).

En lo personal dudaba un poco del producto, lo compre y NO me arrepiento me ha ayudado mucho a que no salga volando todo mi material, muy práctico y eficiente. Por accidente revolví varias chaquiras y el tapete me ayudo muchísimo pues logre separarlas con calma y de manera muy cómoda con este tapete. Se volvio mi indispensable.
