XRDS -RF SMA Male to SMA Female Coaxial RF Attenuator, DC to 8 GHz, 50Ohm, 2W, 20dB Constant Attenuator（2PCS）

I used one of these to protect the input of my mini spectrum analyzer and it performed as expected. I compared it to a combination of two 10dB attenuators I already had and, allowing for the connector loss, it matched up well. These aren't precision pieces, but they are a great deal, so that's a win in my book. I need to characterize it with a full frequency sweep, I'll be interested to see how level it is. It is nice to have a spare thanks to it being a package of two.

I put these on my VNA to look at how flat they are. Looks like they're good to about 1.5GHz when the attenuation is about 3dB out from spec. And then it rolls off.. I can only measure to about 2.3GHz and worsens to that point.While I have no doubt you can shove 8GHz into one side, what comes out the other isn't going to be 20dB down.Still, looks like it should be fine under 1GHz, so this works for my application and is a good solution at this price. Just make sure you moderate your expectations..
