STANLEY FMST1-80149 Fat Max Laptop and Tool Bag - Black

I had been looking for a suitable case to protect my multi function tester, I have a Megger 1741, and the supplied case although adequate would not hold all the accessories that I have. There was no way I was paying silly money for a veto or similar brand, I seen this laptop case and thought I could make it work.It holds my tester, all the test leads, clamp meters, socket testers etc etc, there's even room for my tablet as well.Everything seems well protected, the only minor issue is the positioning of the clips that close the lid shut, they are low down, and angled, they can be fiddly to close, but that's a minor niggle.

Ive been looking for a "tote" style bag for tool storage for a while and this alternative from Stanley caught my eye. There are more than enough inside pockets and straps to secure my tools separately. The zip access to the front is a very clever thought out idea and give instant access to the front compartment. A slight drawback is the "laptop" compartment which is not used as do not require to take a laptop to work. The handle is ergonomically friendly however the shoulder strap a god send as leaves both hands free to carry other bits n bobs on installations. Finally ordering through amazon prime it was delivered free next working day and best price i could find on the internet at the time of purchase.

Looks durable, would recommen. Could do with a way of locking the bag with a key, no locking function.

This is a great work bag , brought to replace another brand, like it’s lay out and pocket configuration, shoulder strap is comfortable and there is a heavy duty zipper on the flap to allow you access when bag is done up which means you can have on your shoulder and unzip to access ie tablet or tool if requiredWould recommend

Had the bag 3 months and mainly use it for service work, it’s pretty good in general but the handle has started to fail. For the money it’s not too bad.

I am very happy with this bag can fit alot more in it than thought. The bag feels very sturdy and can fit all the stuff in the picture without a problem and still have space for a few extras, been using it for the past month and is fantastic my colleagues have even converted over from there present bags to this I'm an IT engineer but does what I need it to.

So I find the plastic insert is too long so the handle breaks through woven end it’s a design fault by Stanley , there are useless , just offered me foc different bag , that’s not resolving the poor design , then you find the plastic feet come off , mesh ends break , overall poor quality from Stanley .
