Light weight very easy to install and very easy to set up good for a variety of voltages and switching applications and the price is outstanding

I installed this on my pool filter. It works very well. The functions pretty much duplicate the functions from the mechanical timer I replaced. For example, while it is off, you can press the manual button to turn the unit on, and it will stay on until the next programmed time to turn off comes up (similar to the manual switch on the mechanical timer), or you can turn it off while it is running a program and it will turn on when the next program comes up. There is also a manual switch for on or off, bypassing the timer completely. When the unit arrived, the time was displayed on the unit, indicating the battery backup was working. The clock has kept accurate time since installation. For a nice weatherproof installation, I bought some NM connectors for the knockouts and was able to force the 16 gauge cord I’m using through the rubber in the connectors. The internal circuit board looks well made. Very nice upgrade over the mechanical timer.

Already is installed for months and never have problems

Installed timeclock and within 2 days, timer wheel quit. Went back online to Amazon and received a second timeclock within 1 day. Removed 1st timeclock, installed 2nd timeclock and within 1 day.....you got it! Timer quit! Will now search for another brand.

GE timer gave out after 20 years. Ordered 2 GE timers and both were damaged when recieved. The timer head had broken free of the circuit board. This unit wired right up with 10 gauge wire no problem. The ground screw did strip out though. Used a wire nut instead.

Within 30 minutes of operation, the timer shut off. Upon inspecting, I found that the two resistors in the upper right hand corner of the board had blown. I reported this defective on Amazon, and they sent me a new one. Have not installed the new one yet. Will update this review once the new one has been an operation for a while.

Timer is perfect for pools...the directions failed to describe the jumpers required to wire the timer to the load circuit...luckily I had the old pair...but it's not in the directions nor are jumpers included
