Lasts 2 Years in Florida Sun, Which Might Be Normal. ??
This product lasts about 2 years in the brutal Florida sun. This was installed on the swim deck of my boat which is poking out the back of the lift, so it gets sun from 2pm to sunset every day. I don't know if a brand name product would have fared any better, but I'll let you know in 2 years because I'm ordering the 3M one. I spent 20 years doing vinyl graphics and 3M was always the unquestioned best, with Oracal and some others achieving parity with them in quality even if they never got the name recognition. That's why I think this product could be just as good as the more expensive ones; I just don't know. The adhesion is perfect, if you PREP correctly. I hit the fiberglass with 400 grit sandpaper and then cleaned with acetone, rotating through fresh paper towels.I put butcher paper down on my deck areas and traced my layout. I then cut the paper out and used the patterns to cut the foam with a fresh Xacto knife. Being smooth is more important than being accurate. It came out great and felt really nice underfoot. But as the sun has broken it down, it's become chalky and no longer springs back from impacts. You can see my footprints on it. In the images I show you what dragging a fingernail over it will do. Again, I'm not disappointed, and maybe if I would have used Armor All or a similar UV protectant I would have realized more lifespan.

Nice upgrade for a boat!
Purchased to upgrade my disgusting 2005 carpet in my Mariah SX18. Really happy with the outcome! If you are thinking of doing this, have a shady spot, patience, a few beers and do it! Toddler assistants not recommended.Slight difference if you cut the vinyl and lay it opposite directions but not enough to bother me. There is no visible way to tell which way is which on it.My take aways:Additional adhesive is a must; I used 3M spray adhesive. Roll of painters paper to make a template is a must. LOTS of box knives. Acetone to remove carpet glue. Vinyl flooring roller was a life saver. Respirator because the junk you are gonna find under your carpet is not something you wanna be breathing.

Looks great!
This product is a great product. Has great adhesive and stays in place. Only draw back is you have to cut to fit. If you are good at cutting you'll love it.

Looks great!
Go slow. Measure, cut a template, slowly cut. Fabric scissors work great. Take your time. Clean really well and go slow placing pieces. It will look great.

Use clear plastic to make your templates
It won’t be perfect, but clear plastic helps with making templates and lining up your lines.
