I bought this for a friend's dog who had cancer. She said it worked amazingly well. This the second one I bought, because I bought it for my dog who had cancer and passed away last year. Thank you, this product was amazing.

Is this blanket super cool? No. Is this blanket a sub-zero oasis on hot days? No. Does it feel cooler then the ambient air to the touch? Yes. Do the four legged beasts lay on it? Yes. Mission accomplished.I put this blanket in my puppies kennel, and she enjoys laying on it. I have also noticed that she will come in and lay on it when she is hot. I have had to wash it once already, and did notice that it seems to loose some of its cooling abilities. I also noticed that after washing it (in cold water), that it lost it's ability to change colors. It is now a light blue color, also white.Would I recommend this to lay on top of a cot, or put down in a kennel for every day use? Yes. I am not panicky if the puppy chews on the blanket. I do stop her if she starts though!

Enjoyed by my 1 y/o shepherd/cattle mix, although she still prefers the laminate floor or metal crate most of the time, she’ll lay on this at other times for comfort. It’s cool to the touch and still colder than carpet. It’s soft, with a rubbery layer on the underside that doesn’t slip.

This product works for all my dogs! My gratedabe loves it. I love how easy it is to wash !

Misleading. It's just a thin material not really any kind of mat.

Our 60lbs 14-year old Malenois has trouble walking so he lays most of the day on the hardwood floor to keep cool. Because he can't get up from the floor, we tried this mat so he could be cool and still be able to get himself up. I was so skeptical about whether or not this mat would work. It is AMAZING! The technology actually pulls his body heat into the mat. You can even see when he stands where the heat has been taken in by the mat. The mat has grippers so it stays in place. Easy to clean and the dog LOVES it. We are ordering a second mat!!

* Misleading Product - Not a True Cooling Mat *I am very disappointed with this product. It’s essentially a thermal color-changing blanket that only changes color when it comes into contact with body heat; it does not provide any cooling effect. While it may be airy and durable, it is far from what I expected. I anticipated a cooling mat that would feel cool to the touch and actually lower temperatures.This basic thin mat is simply a lightweight layer for a dog visiting. , I cannot recommend it, as it is overpriced for its intended function.As a disabled person , I find the hassle of returning it and shipping it back overseas at the post office to be a bit much.

My dog was a little hesitant at first but he quickly loved this on the hot summer days. Once he figured out that it was cooling ( I had to try it too LOL) My dog loves it and it is easily washable. It is in his favorite spot to sun bask in the window when I am not home. Best of both worlds for him.
