Great fun and good for family bonding! 😁
I have a new hobby! I purchased this as I have an 11year old brother who never wants to go out or do anything except from sit in and play video games so I wanted something to tempt him into the outdoors whilst doing something together. My dad suggested I brought one of these which I did and oh my what fun we are having! It’s so easy to set up and use and you can use headphones if you like as well which makes it more professional and is good for those who can’t hear well/noisy locations. We haven’t found any treasures as yet but it’s fun to use and take around (where we are allowed of course!) the only downside is that you do have to be sooo close to metal for it to bleep so if something is deeper than the surface I’m not sure it would detect it but it’s great for what was want/use it for! He is actually enthusiastic about doggy runs now which is a miracle 😂

Good metal detector for kids & adults
My son is always digging up my garden to look for ‘treasure’ and after he played with a (much more toy-like) metal detector as his friend’s house, I figured he would enjoy having one of his own. I didn’t want to go for something ‘kiddie’ because those aren’t at all accurate and he would quickly get frustrated and lose interest. This metal detector is great in every way. It’s lightweight and adjustable so kids and grownups can use it. It’s not difficult to understand how to use the different settings, and the volume is adjustable as well so you don’t have to annoy the people around you – turn off the sound completely and just watch the gauge if you like. It also has a very handy pinpoint button which helps to locate an object more precisely. My son went off into the garden and within 5 minutes had found a metal bracket – maybe not quite the treasure he was looking for but he was very pleased with it nonetheless. He can’t wait to take it to the beach and see what else he can find!

Doesn’t actually work!!
Could not get this to work but seemed to randomly bleep! A bit disappointed so didn’t give to my son on our holiday as it didn’t seem to work as it should! Bought new battery for it but made no difference. Adjusted settings etc did a bit of research on them but came to the conclusion it just didn’t work!

Fun to use and lightweight
Great bit of kid, endless hrs on beach for my grandson. Easy to use and nice and light. Does seem to beep at anything found sone great bottle tops so far!

Brilliant!
After quite a bit of looking I settled on this detector as it was the price I was looking to pay as it would be used mostly by the kids. Very easy to set up and lightweight so easy for them to carry. It can extend in length so I can use it too. We have found quite a bit of “treasure” so far in our back garden which I have shown in the picture :-) Great fun!

Early delivery for once a problem!
Haven't used it yet out & about but it does work fine and instructions are good. Only downside was delivery. Said would be delivered on Saturday 31st, I think 'great, I'll be home!'. They tried to deliver on Thursday 29th when i was at work! Another trip to the RM sorting collection office. Bit annoying. But not the fault of the product, that's fine

Nice item and at a good price. It's not as heavy as I expected so is no problem getting around and using it for long searches. happy

Rubbish and does not work
This is very poor quality and will not even pick up items that have been placed on the floor. Complete waste of money, do not buy
