FINALLY AN INNOVATIVE BOOK FROM THE FUN CLUB KITCHEN.
I have been discovering I have diverticula for months, and finally, searching on Amazon, I found something interesting and innovative. The recipes I found inside are exceptional, easy to prepare and with simple and common ingredients. The book perfectly explains every step of the diet. It offers tips and tricks on managing flare-ups, especially since THE FUN CLUB KITCHEN allows readers to share personalized recipe variations and case studies. Thanks to this, the recipes are written and shared by those who actually suffer from diverticulitis and face the same daily problems as me.THE FUN CLUB KITCHEN also offers the possibility to subscribe to newsletters for free updates on recipes and new editions. I myself have shared some tricks I use to make recipes that are dangerous for us but healthy for our intestines. I have already tested 3-4 recipes from the book and even made some small customizations. I have tried Apple Orage Juice, Trail Mix Cookies and Chichen Wraps.I have also practised the mindfulness and meditation exercises within the books to take care of the emotional aspect that is so important for intestinal diseases.

RECIPES SHARED BY WOW READERS
This book struck me immediately by scrolling down the Amazon page on my mobile phone. THE FUN CLUB KITCHEN allows all readers to share everything about their situation. By doing so, the information will really help because all readers will surely be facing diverticulitis problems themselves or for some family member. I myself have bought dozens of cookbooks here on Amazon that promised 1000-2000 recipes but in reality turned out to be real flops recipes copied from the web and authors that by searching on the web seem not to exist at all. This book, on the other hand, shows recipes from all over the US that are easy to apply and put into practice.I subscribed to the newsletters and shared my personal story. Hopefully, it will be published in the next edition and help everyone in my same situation.

Contains easy to prepare recipes that are very gentle to my stomach which is so important because of my digestive issues. I recommend it.

One-stop-shop cookbook for Diverticulitis
Having one cookbook that slowly becomes your go-to is such a plus! This has become a really great way to bring life back to meals by exploring new recipes and keeping track of the family's progress through the notes I capture throughout the book.

Don't Buy This Cookbook - Unreliable Information and Recipes
Don't buy this cookbook. Information varies some of it okay but mostly bad. I've read that you should avoid or minimize your sugar intake initially because sugar of any kind feeds bacteria, including sugar substitutes. Their recommended meal plans include recipes in this book with High Fat and High Sugar, the daily caloric intakes vary in the meal plans too low and too high, recipes include ingredients that are not recommended for Diverticulities. And don't trust any of the recipe dietary calculations, they are mostly incorrect making it difficult to track daily intake of fat, protein, sugar, etc. I had to fact check every recipe while taking harsh antibiotics and trying to recover. Extremely frustrating. I'd give it a "0" rating if I could.

the help that no other book gives you
It's the first time I have bought a book from THE FUN CLUB KITCHEN. For the first time i find something that really helps diverticulum sufferers with their problems in the kitchen. It makes preparing healthy and delicious food seem almost easy; thanks to the guidelines found inside, i modified some recipes, creating dishes suitable for the whole family and guess what? Even my son, who usually doesn't like almost anything, was delighted that I could use the ingredients in the suggested shopping list. The endless 12-week meal plan inside allowed me to adapt my needs to those of my family and made me finally feel less excluded and frustrated.I have already purchased three books here on amazon, and this is the fourth one, but I must say that in the others. However, they contain an infinite number of recipes, only now I managed to find recipes for ordinary people like me full of commitments and often with little time to devote to cooking. All the other books contain recipes impossible to execute that seemed written just for the sake of it. THE FUN CLUB KITCHEN apparently fully integrates the readers' suggestions within its books. This is one of the unique touches of this brand.Very happy with the purchase. I recommend it to everyone for just a few dollars to get A 12-Week Meal Plan, lots of recipes all doable right away, and the ability to subscribe to the newsletter and share your opinions with the authors is just great. Also, I have shared one of my recipes that I often use during flare-ups that my nutritionist suggested to me, and I have improved it with my personal touch.

Short and sweet
My son was just diagnosed with diverticulitis and we need some recipe ideas for foods to make that are nto going to cause him pain. This book does have recipes, but there are not a lot. So, keep that in mind when getting this book. THere are enough recipes to get started on the journey to feeling better, but there are only 10 or so recipes for each category. But, that is plenty to get a feel for the kinds of foods that will not cause pain or discomfort to eat. We also appreciated that there were some other ideas, like meditation and yoga, for ways to also reduce pain besides changing the diet. Because my son's doctor told us dietary changes are only one part of the path to feeling better, so it was nice to see that backed up by this book.
