Was always having to remove one hose to attach the longer hose for the garden sprinklers. This makes life easier. The only downfall is one of the levers is hard to twist on and off.

I bought a different Y connector that leaked terribly. This one fixed my issue and now I have a watering system up and running!!!

I needed to split my main hose feed into 2 different lines. I had a plastic t that leaked real bad. I replaced it with this and added the quick connects for using with my soaker hoses in the veggie garden. This kit is a great bargain as you get an extra set of the male connectors for use with multiple attachments. Even the teflon tape is good quality and not like that tissue paper thin garbage they usually include.

The splitter is heavy, not aluminum. The quick attach are aluminum. It comes with spare washers, but NOT o-rings which are inside the quick attach female part. I have owned this style before and after a few years they will leak due to worn o-rings. This is normal wear and tear but it has not been easy to find the size of the O-rings. They seems to be 22 mm x 2.4 mm, if that is useful to anybody.

First of all, it came out of the box with a grossly defective rubber washer inside (see picture). So add a very minimum, you can deduce reliably that this company has virtually no quality assurance in their processes. Additionally, like many other reviewers have mentioned, the levers that turn the flow on and off are so stiff I had to use pliers to open them. And I have reasonably strong hands and fingers. Immediately after opening and closing the levers with the pliers, I could manipulate the levers with my hands. But, when I left it alone for a few minutes, the levers would become stiff again, so that I could no longer work them manually, and I had to go back to using the pliers. I repeated this process several times throughout a day hoping to loosen them up enough to be functional, but to no avail. Who wants a device you have to use the pliers to adjust every time? I need it to be reasonably adjustable. This thing is not! Plus, even if the levers worked properly, I would’ve had to send it back because of the defective washer. Really, really bad quality. So very annoying. The ever-increasing percentage of unacceptably poor quality merchandise I’m receiving from Amazon is becoming so great that it Is starting to outweigh the convenience they provide.
