Cheap, but holding it's ground.
Even though this was a cheap price and a fairly unknown brand, this drive appears to be performing well and has not failed on me.

Good quality Malaysian made Drive inexpensive but well made
I needed a drive to back up my laptop before reinstalling the software and this was inexpensiveIts not Chinese it was made in Malaysia and seems to be very good qualityIt's fast well made and inexpensive what more could you ask for

BIG HDD FOR BACK UPS.
USED THIS AS AN EXTERNAL BACK UP -WAS A LITTLE CONCERNED THAT I NEEDED TO INITIALIZE IT TO MAKE IT WORK ., PUT IT IN AN EXTERNAL CASING WHEN IT SEEMS TO WORK OK , AND IS LARGE ENOUGH TO DO THE JOB.

I put it in a mid range PC for a friend who wanted to keep the costs down. I was a bit apprehensive about the price I needn't have worried so far running well thank you sonics.

Unfortunately, it would appear that the item was dead on arrival. The drive was not recognised by either of the two laptops I connected it to. I thought that it may need formatting. However, as the drive could not be seen by either machine, formatting it was not an option! I spent about 2 hours trying to remedy the problem, only to have to admit defeat and arrange a return to supplier/seller. I am now having to start all over again to find a working replacement. Not very happy!

Not used enough for proper review
Not really used much because it was brought to try to fix a laptop (Which still doesn't work) so I cannot give a proper review. It did work when I tried it but because the hard drive connector is damaged on my laptop in the means of freezing when moved I still cant give a proper review.

Parfaitement foncionnel
J'ai choisi ce disque "générique" plutôt qu'un modèle origine qui coûte près du double.J'ai bien fait ! Les caractéristiques sont bien sûr identiques. La réactivité aussi. L'installation est très simple.Ravi de cet achat ;)

Arrivato nei tempi, anzi prima, funzionamento ok. Ci sono due caratteristiche da correggere nell'annuncio: spessre HD è circa 9mm e non 7 mm, il regime di rotazione è 5400 gpm e non 7200.

falsch deklarierter Artikel
Angeboten wird eine 7200er HD, tatsächlich geliefert wird eine 5400er Platte. Habe das leider erst nach Einbau in meinen MacMini (Angabe in der Systeminformation) bemerkt. Sonst wäre das Teil sofort unter Protest zurückgegangen. Wegen der falschen Angebotsbeschreibung. Ich nenne das Täuschung. Keine Kaufempfehlung.

Geleifert und sofort defekt
Die Festplatte war gleich bei Lieferung defekt. Die Platte lief kurz an und gab dann nur noch Klick- und Klack-Geräusche von sich.
