I never knew about silvervine. But my cats love it. I gave one to my mother-in law for her cat and the next day she was asking where she could get more. Great price also.

I am pretty sure I spent money on somebody's backyard garden trash. I have 8 rescue cats of various ages, breeds, and backgrounds and not a single one even sniffed twice. I recut the ends, split them open, roughed up the surface - all in hopes of activating some oils or other component of the fabled silvervine's attraction for cats. Even just left them around the feeding and play areas for a while to see if they would eventually show interest. The beasties all looked at me like they wanted to make sure I was feeling well for offering them,.. well... a stick. The money I spent isn't worth a return, I guess, but I regret having spent in the 1st place. 0 out of 5, if I could - plus a little angry that I fell for this scam.

I tried these twigs with the bark on, bark peeled a little. Kitty is not often interested in silver vine. I think both vine and catnip need to be very fresh to elicit the kind of reaction you're expecting. I put the twigs back into the sealed bag. Every so often, I take them out, and kitty will rub his face on them.They are affordable and a worth a try. I think they might be too old or dry.

I have 2 cats. Both will smell it but my youngest doesn't really care. My oldest is crazy about it. She doesn't chew it. She throws it around and jumps on it like she has lost her freaking mind.

My kitties love these! From kitties to seniors, everyone enjoys them :) I have a few that chew them up until there's nothing left and a few that will roll around when you give on to them haha

I have two cats that are about a year old. They haven't shown any interest in these sticks, barely even a sniff.These same cats will play for ages with a twist tie. I'm not sure if they don't smell anything on the sticks or if the sticks smell bad to them. To me, the sticks don't smell like much so they were worth a try.I do not doubt this is a product that is exactly as described and some cats love it. But it isn't for all cats.I'm continuing to search for something for the cats to chew on.

What fun watching my cat play with this! He hugged it and wouldn't share! Great treat!
