Leaked in standard rain (UPDATE)
It worked good for awhile. Honestly this was one of my favorite trail cams. Easy to use and great pics and vids. Then it rained for a few days and it filled with water. Hasn’t worked since. UPDATE: The company sent me a new camera and I have one of my favorite cams back. Definitely would recommend buying from a company that backs their product, especially since I originally bought almost a year ago.

Good Camera
The media could not be loaded. I know nothing about game/trail cameras, BUT, this one is easy to use. Menu is somewhat complex but you can also just keep it simple. Good quality still and video. I’m happy with the value/money ratio.

Easy to use and great customer service.

Poor night video
Video quality is low. I wanted to replace a Meidase S3 Pro Trail Camera which is failing. I have to keep looking for a replacement. This one is not up to par.

These work very good
I have been using these cameras for the past 3 years at our hunting cabin. We have 8 of them. Overall they work very good for the money. The motion detection is decent and the quality of the videos are pretty good. The night vision is good for the price you are paying for these. The batteries do not last long and have to be replaced monthly which can be a PITA and expensive too. When the batteries are replaced you have to reset the time and date which is a PITA too. Other than that they are worth the low cost you are paying for these cameras. Over the last 3 years we had 2 fail and the LCD screens inside went out so that was another problem but the cost of these are so affordable that wasn’t much of a problem having to buy new ones. If you want better quality with cellular and recharging solar batteries look elsewhere and pay more for that. If you are looking for a decent low cost trail cam these may be for you.

Good deal for a solid game camera
The media could not be loaded. OK, had 6 of these for a few weeks now. Very satisfied so far. I was a Tasco user for a few years but these are a game changer for me. There are many higher end cameras that have more bells and whistles but for me these are doing the job for a decent price. The night shots are good enough for me and the distance is good. I run the daytime photos at 24MB size but could get by with less definition. Here are some things I learned in the short time using these.1) The attached video was taken at High PIR selection. As you can see the buck is not spooked by the IR flash. I have since reduced all my cameras to Med PIR selection and may go to Low.2) I use rechargeable lithium batteries that cost nearly as much as the camera. I wish the camera had a small buffer memory but you need to reset time/date when batteries are removed. I have a process to set camera in the field, mount camera and then turn on, check date/time and if current the rest of the menu selection will be as set. When the date reverts back to the default the batteries are low.3) I have 16 or so older memory cards that I use. When I first started with the Meidese cameras I formatted each with the cameras. Several were not recognized at first but after I turned camera off, reinserted several times I had only one I could not use.4) I really like the photo/video menu option and use that most of the time. I have backed off on PIR and flash intensity in an attempt to control unwanted triggers. If you are in a tight spot using the side sensors might help you get photos of faster moving game. If there are branches to each side of the camera that may move in the wind you may get pics with no apparent object. I started with using the side sensors but have since turned them off.5) I check my cameras daily. My routine is to open and turn off camera. Change the memory card and turn camera back on. I check the date and time and that the camera has accepted the card. Close and move on.6) As most cameras come with a strap I wish Meidese would provide a strap with a release buckle on the strap.Overall I am happy. I recommend using a good quality mount because the strap is annoying. We will see how the cameras hold up but after several weeks I am thinking about adding three more.

Excellent affordable critter cam
Very pleased so far with this purchase. I'm using this to monitor my raccoon trap, which gets a lot of traffic. I was using a Tasco bought on clearance - glad that I did not pay much for it, so it can go in the trash. Many false positives, very few videos per night, maximum ten second video length (which really was mostly 2-3 seconds), limited options, took 3-4 tries to get it to turn on. The Meidase is easy to set up and use, has a wide variety of options including video length, takes 50-60 videos a night, and the nice little display screen lets you do a quick check of what you've shot.

impressive, easy to use, great seal
I am very impressed with this camera, especially for the price. I have had cameras that cost more than double the price of this camera and they did not perform nearly as well. It was easy to set up and takes great quality pictures and videos, even at night. The latches allow for a good, tight fit to keep the camera securely closed. The belt has an excellent quick-release that stays secure. I really like the convenience of the quick playback feature. I am a first-time user of this camera and it is of excellent quality. I highly recommend this camera and have nothing negative to say about it. I am going to purchase a couple more.

Not bad for a first trail cam but a few issues
This was my first foray into a trail cam. Oddly the night video is clearer than any night photos so I've turned off taking photos at night. This does not come with any way to fasten the camera other than the single strap (some come with two) so you'll often get videos with a bit of a wonky horizon. Plus the strap seems to stretch a bit if it rains; either that or the strap clip doesn't hold tight enough to support the camera over time. I have to tighten the strap every few days. When I was using both photo and video, the motion trip for photos was slow so the camera often missed the subject. I did leave the video on long enough critters did get captured but rarely did I get a photo of what tripped the camera. Batteries did ok - lasted a few months being only on at night. But I'm thinking one powered by solar would be a better long term objective. This camera recommends NOT using rechargable batteries so you do have to keep buying new ones. All this said, this camera was a not bad way to enter into the trail cam world and it's served what I wanted it for (tracking rats in the garden at night along with other creatures). But if I ever buy another one I'll be sure it has a way to level the camera, or has more than one strap so videos aren't often wonky. Plus I'd like one that does a better night photo. None of my night photos were really usable.

Good value, nice options.
Here’s my first impression, yet to install it in the Bush. Will be doing that this weekend and should have videos a week later.I did a test video only in my house with the lights out. It took a really good video. The control settings are easy to use and very logical. There’s a small screen for previewing pictures and videos captured. This screen is used for the settings as well, making it simpler than the brand name cameras. There is no cable lock holes on the back on the camera, only a light lock hole that holds the door shut. This could be used to lock the camera to a tree. It would be easy to break free. You can set a password to the settings, therefore, if it does get stolen the thief can’t use it.This unit takes videos up to a minute long. And has a really short reset. There’s three triggers to start recording. It has the standard front facing and then another two angled to the side, which will allow a quicker response to start recording.Overall seems to be as good as a unit costing over twice the price.

Full of features
This is a very good camera with many good enhanced features. It has an excellent range for sensing motion and triggering the camera. It has a viewing screen and a usb cable to give 2 ways to view your photos and delete some if you want to without removing the sd card and possibly making it that you don't have to replace the card every year. It is easy to set up and comes with a strap for mounting.
