The kit includes 12 colors of sand in individual containers, stickers to mark the sand containers, a pealing tool, 4 activity pieces and an instruction booklet. The theme is colorful birds. The variety of colors make the activity pieces really colorful and beautiful. Bright colors with earth tones give them a nice balance of colors. The kits are designed to be done in their boxes. Each box has a small hole in a corner for excess sand to be funneled back into the containers. The process is easy to do to get consistently good results. Place the desired activity piece in the box. Use the pealing tool to peal off the first location for the sand. Take the colored sand for that location and gently tap enough to cover the location on the activity piece. Tilt and tap the box to move excess sand to the bottom of the box. Position the sand container for that color near the hole and tap the sand to the hole and into the container.

Perfect way for my 6 and 7 year olds to spend an hour entertaining themselves. There are enough sand colours for there to be no arguments; the wooden tool made it easy for them to be able to lift the paper (to reveal the sticky surface) by themselves; and, although my son just mixed the sand colours together, it still turned out looking pretty good. The tray is a good idea to minimise the mess - one child used that and the other used the Amazon box the kit came in! The designs aren't the most appealing compared to some other kits on Amazon, but this is good value for money!

It's going back
It's going back! It had no tools, no instructions, same colors are dull and the pictures are yellowed and half the size pictured. And it all comes in a small ugly brown box not for gifting.

impressive prodcut but still not good enough
This is a fun product! It really can help kids to develop their brain and have an creative with art! The only thing I complain is that the adhesive is easy to be colored when I remove it from the pieces. Otherwise, I would love to give it five stars!

Fun time for kids and adults
Really cute sand art kit! It's such a fun way to kill time. The colored sand was bottled very well, so I wouldn't worry about having a mess at home if I accidentally tipped bottle off. I think kids will enjoy it too with the color and cute design. Saving it as my next gift to my niece for sure.

The sand is pretty. So much sand in such lovely colors for the price. It’s a little bit hard to get the sand out of the bottles but my kids still love it. They were using them for many art projects.
