We were at the beach in Florida on the Gulf of Mexico and it was a bit windy. Our umbrella kept blowing inside out so had to take it down. Another person’s umbrella wasn’t even moving so I asked what it was and he told me RIO.Today we were on the other side of the state, 18 mph winds blowing off the Atlantic, and my new umbrella barely moved.It takes a bit to get used to the anchor system but it’s actually easy. They don’t say in the instructions but it helps to clear a relatively flat space. And then once it’s screwed in place push some sand onto the anchor for a little extra stability.Bottom line, it’s as advertised, holds up great in the wind, good sun block. A bit heavier than my old one but easy to carry and well worth it.

Easy to set up and stayed secure in the breeze

VERY study; the auger is thick and long so it's secure in the sand. Adding sand on the bottom also helps with stability. We used it today during gusty winds and it didn't move. Of note, it DOES NOT TILT, even though the description says it does.

East to carry. Easy to put up. Has held up in the high Cape May winds so far.... I will update after longer use.

It held up well on a very breezy day at the beach. The sand thing at the base does get in the way a bit. You can’t get close to the pole with beach chairs and my feet kept hitting it. The umbrella is also heavy, but that’s because the ribs are strong. We’ll keep it. Overall a good umbrella.
