Great purchase!
So to start with I'm writing this as an executive chef, my standards for knives are extremely high as I used them all day, everyday. A long time ago I stopped paying attention to the brand that's offering a blade and get more credit to the steel in which it's made from. Vg10 being my go-to. This knife set is a fine example of vg10 steel. They are razor sharp right out of the box had great balance and weight. For a starter set or just looking to add blades to your collection in my opinion this is a phenomenal way to go!

Honestly, a really good knife set for the price. Beautiful, comfortable, and durable
This is coming from a cook/chef of three decades, these are pretty damn good knives. The best knife is the one that's going to get reached for time after time because it's comfortable and does the job you need it to do. These excel in that. They're weighted nicely with the balance point or fulcrum being right at the bolster which is sloped and curved to make for a very comfortable pinch grip, which is the grip of preference for professionals and which I recommend to most home cooks. Full tang, solid rivets with a durable and smooth handle that doesn't slip when it gets a little wet. They're made of VG-10 steel, which is a quite common stainless steel used for knives. Not every company uses it, but it doesn't set off any warning bells or whistles for them using it. It sharpens well, holds up to honing and regular use. It will as any knife will, dull with time, but if you use it as a home cook, you can expect to have to sharpen it with a whetstone 2-3 times a year is my guess. You WILL want to use a whetstone though as it does have a 15 degree angle dual bevel edge, which is closer to what you see from Japanese knives than a Western or European style Chef's knife. There are pros and cons to this, but it does result in a potentially sharper knife better for precision slicing. The downside is you can't just run it through a typical manual or electric ceramic sharpener, which I don't use anyways as they often remove too much metal and ding up the blade, because those sharpeners are designed for 20 degree angle Western knife edges. There are some I believe out there that can adjust the angle, but unless you have one, you'll need to manually sharpen, which honestly is a process I enjoy anyways. You get a pretty good assortment of knives. I don't personally find a bread knife to be super essential, but they're nice to have. Downside of any serrated knife is that they're a pain to sharpen, so you'll have to either get really good at sharpening, pay a pro, or treat that particular knife as disposable, but it should last years. The santoku has the hollow ground divots that reduce drag and food sticking to the blade, and is great for veggie slicing and dicing. The utility knife is somewhere between a boning knife and a paring knife but a good multitasker no matter what you use it for. The chef's knife is an 8" model, which is great for most home cooks. I prefer a longer one myself having come from professional restaurant kitchens, but this is more than up to household cutting, slicing and dicing. And if all that isn't enough to assuage your fears, they offer a lifetime warranty.

Sharp!
These came very sharp out of the box. Very nice design. Not 100% sure these are real Damascus but looks nice. Only thing I didn't like was the giant etched logo on the side.

Great Set of Knives; Bread Knife is Outstanding
When I got these knifes, they were priced at $100. As of the time of this review, it seems the price has been lowered to $40. At this price, these are an absolute steal. These are really aesthetically pleasing knives, and they are also very sharp and effective for what they need to do.There are four knives included:-Chef Knife - Very standard eight-inch knife. It's quite sharp, and I haven't had any issues using it.-Santoku Knife - I already have a really high-quality santoku knife at home for chopping vegetables, and this one doesn't really hit that same level, but it's still quite good.-Bread Knife - Honestly, this is the standout here. I don't think I've used a better bread knife before. Not only does it look good, but the sharpness and scallopped edge lets me cut through a crusty loaf in a single motion; no sawing needed. These leads to clean cuts and much fewer mess with crumps. I would almost say it's worth it for this knife alone.-Utility Knife - On the box, they call this a "pairing" knife, which is both misspelled and also very much the wrong knife type. I actually would have preferred a paring knife, as I think they're more useful, but this still works great, and is compact enough not to cause any space issues.Overall, a great set. Honestly, the only negative thing I can say is that the included guide sheet is very hard-to-read, in the sense that it's filled with cringey late-2000's humor (including Chuck Norris and unicorns). I feel if the company tried less hard, it would honestly come across better. But setting that aside, these are an amazing set of knives for what is currently a really low price.
