Not your expecting red
This is not red. Its actually more to the brown side then red.

A good shade for the cosplay prop I was making althought it wasn't perfect. Nothing a spot of black paint didn't help with.

Red, but not as we know it!
Not being a paint connoisseur I didn't realise 'red ochre' meant borderline terracotta. I bought this (albeit hurriedly) to paint some valentines salt dough crafts our toddlers had made at my local twins group. Unfortunately we couldn't use it and as I didn't realise my error until I'd opened it it will no doubt just end up in the bin. 2 stars due to the lack of colour description for complete paint amateurs as I can't award it anything for its use!
