well presented testing product for blood uric acid level
When used in conjunction with the UA sure uric acid test meter these strips give fairly consistent results which seem to match my gout flare-up levels. They are easy to use though read all instructions carefully as false results can be obtained by lack of attention to sampling of specimen or droplet amount or cleaning sample site and avoiding cleaning agents, basically follow instructions to the letter, they have an excellent help centre if required. I worked in a hospital lab for 40 years and have done many similar manual tests, some easier to perform and some more difficult,once you have done a couple they are very straight forward to perform routinely. I will know more on accuracy when i have received my hospital sampled blood result for comparison. 4 Star award is based on current ease of use and expected values bsed on current gout pain or lack of.

UA test strips
Work fine, very expensive at about $1 @. Absolute blood draw site cleanliness is a must. No residual hand creams, perfume, soap etc. Use a dishwashing liquid detergent with no additives and it rinses clean. Use an alcohol wipe and thoroughly dry. You are testing in parts per million and it is easy to contaminate the site or strip. They work fine if used correctly. My opinion.
