Seriously love it :)
I get a lot of food toys for my border collies. They are a wonderful breed and extremely intelligent. This guy right here is the kind of smart that is able to figure if you just open the top of the food toy you can get all the food. This product is wonderful! Because you literally just have to open the top 😂 but it sands your dog’s nail while they do it! Seriously, I forget so often to clip nails and afterwords often don’t know where I put the nail grinder or if it is charged. This product is a win-win!Highly recommended for-forgetful people like me-smart dogs-diggers (very positive redirection)-scent dogsThe only con is that the sand paper wears out, but the company sends replacements (and though I haven’t looked I bet they have replacements you can purchase). It’s gonna take my border collies a while to get there though.

Easy to use
It is a very simple design, which is great for the dog to understand it. The file works well and is pretty durable. It even came with a replacement sticker of the file part. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was that the door to open for treats can get stuck easily and be hard to yank open when you let it sit between times to file the nails.

Great idea and helpful in trimming nails
I live this as it help me keep my dogs front paws nails trimmed. But I have e found that it actually turns her nail into daggers. When she scratches her paws are turned outwards. So nails just get sharper and not necessarily shorter. They don't get shorter evenly. That's my dogs issue and not the product. The product is great. I would like to see it made on a curve. Like on half of a round bucket. For my dog at least.

Good for some
The concept is great and I’m sure it works well for some dogs. My dog saw me pull it by the ribbon and used his teeth to partially open it then used his snout to open it the rest of the way. The second time he did use a paw but only to get it open far enough he could use his snout to finish the job. It did come with replacement pads. I do think it’s worth getting because even if your dog does what mine did it’s still a puzzle and mental exercise.Edited to add: I did find if I turn the opening towards a wall away from my dog, he will scratch at it to get it away from the wall so it seems to somewhat do what I purchased it for. However, he’s getting faster each time at getting it open which means less scratching on it.

I was skeptical, amazing product.
My dog is very reactive when it comes to getting his front nails clipped, filed or dremeled. I ordered this as a last ditch effort because I know his nails are long, but can not fight him to get them done anymore. After the first use, there was a huge difference. I waited a couple weeks and used it again, and they're finally to a point he no longer cracks on the floor and push his toes up. This is so much better for his health and my sanity. I do have to block the little door, because he just pulls on the ribbon with his mouth to open it and get the treats.

Great idea, poor execution
This is a great idea, but poor execution. Completely understand it will take dogs a bit to learn. However, all that effort is thwarted when the dogs learn they can lick the sliding door open and get the treats.Attempted multiple training sessions and unless your pup already paw/dig at everyday things this will not work. Mine would sit and then lick the door once they found that was all it took.Love that this is a much less stressful way to trim the nails. Really wanted it to work. Returning.

Works Really Well
This took my dog a few tries to figure it out. Now she has it down, and it helps keep her nails filed.

Amazing!!!!
I was super skeptical of this product. I have a Husky Australian Shepherd mix and he will not allow anyone to touch his paws. He is a highly intelligent dog as soon as I put the scratch board down with a treat inside, he scratched it. Within a few minutes of him scratching his nails were filed down. I am incredibly impressed with this product. I just know he is way more comfortable and happier now without his nails super long. Truly 5 stars!

This actually worked!
I have a big 90lb lab that does not like having his nails cut. Despite being the friendliest giant he will not let mum do it! Ordered this and he got the hang of it on the first try. Immediately filed his front nails down. Giving 4 stars because product obviously can’t do back paws and the file is a bit uneven on the nails due to the way he scratches the board, it files middle nails more than the others. However totally worth it and did the job good enough.

Works okay
Thought this product was bigger as I have a 70lb boxer. If I can get my dog to scratch it does a wonderful job of dulling his nails
