The Beginner's Bible 365 Devotions for Kids

We read this as breakfast every morning and my son asks to read about “Jesus” every day now. So cute! Very digestible and easy to understand.

My kids enjoy reading this Bible together or by themselves. It is easy for them to read and understand. It makes explaining and talking about the Bible easier when they have pictures also. I would recommend!

My 2 year old son loves for me to read his "votional" to him everyday.

I read this to my three year old and she loves it! We read this alongside the little bible from the same author. It’s great! It has the verse from the Bible and then a small reflection, that the kids can understand. It also comes with a small prayer.

My daughter loves watching the Beginner’s Bible cartoons. I purchased this devotional since the interest and excitement was already present, and thought it would help us to enjoy the Bible together.Not even 30 days in, I became hesitant to share from it anymore.But, first, I’ll start with the pros.-It engages children well.-It is short and thought provoking.-It includes a sentence of scripture on each page.-It includes a small prayer related to the topic.That being said, I was uncomfortable with the language used to describe some of the concepts. A lot of feeling words were used, such as:“God was angry and very disappointed. God had to teach them that they need to follow the rules. And so Adam and Eve had to leave the Garden. This made Adam and Eve sad.”and… “So many people were not following God. God was sad that he had even created humans! He had been so happy with them. He had said they were good! But no more. He decided that something had to be done to fix things on earth.”There’s many things I can point out, but I think the examples speak for themselves.At the end of the day, hearing scripture, God’s word, and the core concepts are always a plus.If you have an inquisitive kiddo though, I’d skip this one due to the suggestive language.

This is so sweet! The perfect little starter devotional. Now having seen it though, I would recommend for a 2-year old over the 4-year old I bought it for. The devotions are super short. Overall though, it’s great and we’ve had great conversations come out of it.

This is a wonderful devotion book for early readers. My son & I look forward to reading it every day & it has sparked some great conversations about God! I love that my son is learning to love God's Word!

Originally I intended it for my 4.5y old, but my 6y old grabbed it as an addition to his Beginners' Bible and he loves it. My son noticed some small differences in descriptions of some stuff in both books so seems one of them is wrote in more simplified version. But, generally, is a very good set with Beginners' bible.

Purchased for a friend's 9 year old daughter. She loved it. It brings her closer to Jesus every day. She promises that every day she reads a page.

My kids love this , we read it every night at dinner
