Better than expected!!
Purchased these for my sons and son in laws as Christmas gifts. They all work in the construction industry and wanted them to be "safe". They arrived very quickly and were packaged wonderfully. Perfect for gift giving. Everyone was surpised and very pleased with their gift. They have tried them out and say they are very well made and very convenient to use. Overall.. couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Needs deeper pockets, prevents grasping ladder
It needs some deeper pockets. Longer tools can still fall out.The design prevents the user from grasping the ladder to climb op or down.I would not buy again. I would look for something else.

Cute. Better than nothing. But not that helpful.
As you can see, I’m removing a bathroom exhaust fan. And several tools are needed. Otherwise you have to go to the ground back up go to the ground back up, etc. So the whole purpose of the thing is to get the job done at one climb, and not retrieve more tools. As you can see the Storage area is pretty much made for a can of paint, a brush and a few screwdrivers. Not really power tools. I was so expecting this to be great. I guess I’ll have to make my own.

Does not work on ladders that do not have a flat top. very unstable
Does not work on ladders that do not have a flat top. It is very unstable on ladders like the Little Giant, Werner, etc. -- which do not have the flat top. Do not try to put a full container of paint on it.

It's safe and worth the money!
I wanted to buy a tool bag organizer and I found this Safety Step product. I thought it is very innovative. It does not only provided the need for me to organize all my tools, but it also giving me and my daughter extra safety not using the top step of a ladder. This product is designed to cover to top step and disallow anyone to use the top step. The tray securely hold a gallon of paint and the slidable side rack is convenient to hold the drill. The best about this product is when I finish my job, I can leave it on the step ladder without removing it on and off.
