Duracell Powermat PBRB1 Portable Battery with up Double Dattery for Android Devices and iPhone 4/4S-Black

Since I have only one smartphone that will work with the Powermat charger, I thought that having a portable power brick to occupy the other half of the charger and provide ready backup power would be useful. Because this older Duracell item has the older Apple connector rather than the more common Lightning plug, it is offered at a significant discount. It can also be charged conventionally from a USB socket with the included short cord. The latter is a high-quality accessory I also find useful because the MicroUSB plugs and jacks on my cords and devices tend to wear out prematurely (the main reason I went for wireless charging in the first place).

My husband bought me this to take along on my son's fieldtrip at school so I would be sure to have a charging source if my phone should happen to die along the way (since you can't exactly charge a phone on a bus). Well, it worked wonderfully, it charged my phone quickly and is so small you can slip it in your purse. Now I find myself keeping it with me for a "just in case" moment I'm somewhere I need to charge my phone. Let's face it, phones have taken over our culture, you can't seem to go anywhere without them and their battery life just won't hold up after a few months. How many times have you been in the mall or grocery shopping, reach in your purse only to find your phone blinking battery low. This has been such a lifesaver!! I can't say enough about it. Thanks Duracell for another great product!! I use mine so much more than I ever thought I would!

POWER ON THE GO!! I love these portable batteries, which can be charged from your computer, direct AC, or on a power pad, which charges two at a time. It has been a lifesaver when my phone runs out of power and there are no outlets to be found. I carry two in my purse, one in the car, and have others charging at home. I gave two to my grandsons. Mine are compatible with iPhone 4, 4S, iPad 3... but I'm pretty sure they have others on Amazon, also, for those who have other generations. Be sure to check compatibility. They would be wonderful to have when there is a power outage and one has no way to charge one's phone. Mine are a treasure!! Oh, yes...it will also charge my mophi. For the instant power one gets, these are more than worth the great price you get on Amazon.

I works.....kind of. I bought a power mat a few weeks ago that came with a case one of these and the charging mat. I took the battery that came with it and glued it to the back of my life-proof case on my phone worked awesome. until it fell with it plugged in and cut the charging cord that went into my phone. This product looks robust but i can assure you it is not. So i bought this for a replacement for the one I messed up this one takes hours to charge and it only charges half way. This is a wonderful concept I know this isn't the first one of these batteries and it wont be the last. What I think would be a cool is if you could put your wireless charging case on top of the battery without plugging it and and it would charge.

I love this device! It is perfect for going on long school field trips on the bus when you have no way of charging your phone or Ipod and I love that it is compatible with android or apple products. The small size makes it easy to carry. One day my phone had 4% battery and I plugged it into the duracell powermat and within 2 hours, it was almost charged completely. The best part is you can still use your device while it's charging because it is so small. I have raved about it so much that my friends have gotten themselves one as well. You don't have to buy the extra powermat to charge it, either. It has a cord with it so you can just plug it into the wall. Very convenient at an affordable price! I don't leave home without one.

This battery is great. I love the fact that it has connectors for both micro USB and Apple ports, and that they fold into the battery for easy transportation and storage. It has four lights to indicate the power level, a power button, and a flat design that lets it fit in my purse easily. It also uses magnetism to snap it into the optimal position for charging. There is a short USB cable included if you should ever need to charge it without the powermat. In the two months I've owned it, I have used it multiple times.

The battery in my IPhone drains very fast, and always at inopportune times. This accessory is a must for me. I learned of the IPhone cases with additional battery life built into them from my son, but they were too heavy for my needs. This is also very reasonably priced. I like the white-- it goes well with my IPhone. I have not seen this in any retail stores or anywhere other than on Amazon.com. It was shipped immediately and arrived well before the quoted arrival date.
