Q: Our tile is not perfectly smooth. Will this still work?

The two that I purchased adhere to my tile just fine. The surface of my tile is not perfectly smooth. Never had them fail, although I reset them once a month. I have tried several cheaper brands, none of which would last for more than a couple of months.

Q: Will this work in a travel trailer?

Don't see why not. It just needs a flat, smooth surface that's big enough.

Q: is finish plastic or other finish over plastic?

All metal. I test it every morning and it’s solidly attached to my tiled shower wall for 5 months.
