Pilated woodpeckers love it!
This is the best suet- I have so many types of woodpeckers visit my garden daily (Pilated, downy, red-headed, yellow-bellied) but the Pilated are by far the pickiest eaters. They love this brand. If I run out & get a cake from the grocery store they pass it over. I leave them in the fridge so they aren’t so messy to handle.

Birds love it.
They wait for me to put this seed out for them. Very soft, work fast as it is soft, especially in the sun

My birds don't touch this suet.
Update Oct 12, 2020Indeed, it took a little while for my birds to get a taste for these suets. But once they did, they are coming all the time. I used the 10 packs and I ordered more.------I have several Northern flickers (and other birds) that visited my yard every day. Two of the flickers do their nest in a dead cottonwood (see picture).I always keep suet available close to the cottonwood and they love it. I usually get my suet at the local store. During the covid19 crisis, I decided to order online. I did some reaearch and I settled on that one. The package was eco-friendly and recyclable. It says that it attracts tree-clinging and perching birds (such as Chickadees, Cardinals, Sparrows, Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, ...) and I have many of these visiting my yard every day.At first, I was hesitant to 10 cakes at a time but he price was attractive, so I decided to go with it. I have had this for 2 weeks now and "my birds" won't eat that suet. They tasted it as I can see that there was a couple of holes in the cake. But they basically ignore it. Not sure what is wrong with that suet. It is now going to the compost... I don't recommend.

Our birds have their cake, and eat it too!
This product is great. Easy to load. Does not melt. Attracts titmice, chickadees, chipping sparrows, cardinals, blue Jays, woodpeckers, painted buntings, white wing doves. and an occasional crow. I do have to take it in at night to prevent rackoons from stealing the feeder! I have it hanging on a shepard's hook next to a small squirrel-proof feeder on another shepard's hook, a larger squirrel-proof feeder hanging from a Live Oak tree, and a concrete bird bath. This shaded arrangement generates heavy traffic throughout the day, year round.
