JUST RIGHT
Good, firm, used to cut pork ribs, good results. This product meets all my needs and expectations. Very sharp, moderate weight, easy to hold. It looks like it's going to do a good job, it's good quality, and it's worked very well for cutting bone so far

Sharpness and feel
I have never had a cleaver like this before. I cut alot of meat in my own and needed something sharp and strong. This is a well made cleaver and is very sharp and handles very well.

Reliable knife
The knife was very sharp. It was packed securedly in a box, it also comes with a thick cloth cover that is good for keeping it secured when storing in the cupboard. The only downside was the weight, it is quite heavy. But overall it serves it's purpose then cutting bones.

Wow.
It has weight to it, but is is not heavy and it is definitely manageable. The wooden handle is comfortable, and the size is perfect. I can see this knife as one of my go to. The protective coating it came with was hard to clean off, so if this is your case, use very hot water and don’t give up, it does come off.

Heavy knife
This is a Heavy Sharp knife.Even though this is a meat cleaver I teasted it on a ripe tomato which is probably the hardest thing to cut. This cleaver sliced through the tomato like it was melted butter.This knife is not for the Faint of heart it is sharp and very heavy at two and a half pounds.I absolutely cannot wait to test this out on meat that I may need to cleave

Like a dull hatchet.
The hand ax (hatchett) is attractive and appears well built. BUT! it comes dull. Takes a good deal of sharpening but then after some use needs to be sharpened again. Lousy at retaining an edge when used as a meat ax.

Great product
I used this cleaver to chop through lamb leg bones and it just got through it as a hot knife through butter and cut meat so easy really shard edge. it is on the heavy side a little bit, but that is okay. Over all it is worth the money.
