great for a crowd!
I needed to make morning coffee for friends at a bike campout. Used these to get everyone their morning Joe. Excellent size and function! These folks will empty a 52 cup pot in 30 minutes, so these came in handy all weekend!

Not great for hot drinks.
This pack of cups/lids is a great value. Unfortunately, the cups are not the best for hot drinks. When I used the cup for my hot tea on my Keurig, the cup was uncomfortable to hold for at least 10 minutes. If the drinks you serve are not boiling hot, these cups will work fine.

Better for cold drinks
I typically use a brown kraft paper cup for soup or coffee at work. By comparison, this white paper cup is less sturdy and transmits more heat. I wish for an extra paper sleeve when I'm drinking from these. They're certainly sturdy enough for single use, especially when drinking water or other cold drinks. Even after an hour or two on my desk, the cold cup holds its shape. Heat causes the paper to become a little too flexible, although not so much that I was concerned about spillage. Using the included lids mitigates the flexibility too.At the $32 price point, the kraft paper and these white paper cups cost about the same per hundred, but the white cups include lids and the kraft don't. So these cups do offer value. I think they'd be especially suitable for situations in which a large group needs to be served either hot or cold drinks, and budget is a consideration.
