Works great as an aquarium mat.
Really nice quality, sticks well to marine plywood, delivered quickly.Used as an underlay mat for a 9ft 500kg aquarium and also to line sump shelf underneath.

Great grip, that gets even better when wet!
Self adhesive, but use with a marine quality adhesive as per instructions slightly thick for racing dinghy application, but works and is very comfortable! Be great if it was available without the extra under layer.

Not sticking at all
After few days unstick itself indoors. Cannot imagine if it's outdoors how bad will be.

Good quality and easy to fit
This is standard EVA foam matting, and comes in decent custom-made packaging instead of the usual massive amazon box. It is extra-thick cardboard and protects the product well. This self-adhesive sheeting has many possible uses, but basically anywhere you want an extra-grippy waterproof surface this will do the job. Obviously it’s main use is on boats and areas with lots of possible water hazards. This product matches the specifications to within a few mm, which is fine. It has a small amount of stretch but I wouldn’t bother using that during fitting as it’s hard to keep it straight when doing that. The adhesive is strong, although it is not the permanent-bonding kind, so you can make adjustments or remove if necessary (although you might damage it so be careful. I have no idea how the bonding will be after several months, it may well become much stronger.Cutting is easy enough with a sharp stanley knife, and I would advise you to take your time and mark what you are cutting. Better to cut slightly too big than too small, you can always trim it down. The price of this might seem a little expensive but it’s about right compared to similar products.Overall for the quality and quantity you get I will give this a solid four stars.

Good finish but don't get wet!
Used this to line the deck of a sailing dinghy. Very easy to install, remove backing and stick to floor. Left for 3 days before using. As soon as it got wet the floor started peeling away. Will secure with glue, but would be better with no adhesive than the poor quality it was supplied with

Lovely texture on top layer, has plenty of grip.
I originally ordered this to replace the carpet in my car which has a water ingress problem resulting in a damp carpet nearly all the time, figuring that if its Ok for boats it'll work in the car. The only problem being that in the last month, we have hardly had a dry day or two, in which I could get outside and actually pull out the old carpet and replace with this. I have reviewed it on this basis, not being able to try it out in a larger area. I cut out a small sample to try it.The material itself is two separate layers - a spongy white layer and a harder seeming black layer on top with a fine ribbed texture on it. The layers are, of course bonded together with a self-adhesive layer on the bottom of the white layer. I tried sticking it down and I can say it bonds firmly to a dry surface and feels very "grippy" underfoot. I took a couple of close up macro shots of it, in order to show the texture. I measured it too and it is indeed around 5mm thick overall

Good
I have used similar ones on my yacht and this is medium priced and good quality. Cutting it can be a bit challenging as it comes in roll that does not straighten properly for easy mapping. Good sharp craft blade is all you will need but scissors are ok to use too though they will not leave smooth edge. This bonds very well and in some pieces I had to readjust, it was not easy to remove and left black layer still stuck on my decks. So no mistakes can be made. It does also have bit of stretch if needed to go around curves. Only thing that removes this is oil so any diesel spillage will just unstick it and it will have to be replaced. This is very durable and if you manage to get any stains on it, scrubbing brush and warm soapy water will do. Or alternatively even power wash. Glue is so strong that power wash will not unstick it. After cleaning it also dries reasonably quick. More importantly even when wet it is definitely non slip material.
