Well build. Small. Zoomable. Very powerful consistently uniform bright useable UV light! Buy with safety glasses!
These compact UV lights have most of the features of a larger tactical light including the much appreciated zoom spot to flood light shaping feature but are super small and boast an unexpectedly very bright UV light. I don't think I would want a UV light to be any brighter than this, it would be dangerous. This light is so powerful someone could probably tan under it. LOL. Anyways, its superbly built. I have nothing bad to say about it although having a switchable mode other than on and off such as a lower-power setting or a flashing mode to help highlight things that are only illuminated by the light would be welcome additions.UPDATE 01/06/2018): Had some time to really evaluate this light and put it through its paces and I stand by the original rating, but there are some notes that need adding here. If I had a legitimate complaint for this product and its usefulness it would be one of the two following items which I consider minor but others might not like:1. SIZE: That the lights may be just too darn small for people with larger hands perhaps or people with crippled arthritic hands this might not be good. Due to their overall black color in combination with that small size (<4" long by <1" wide) despite the red end switch and small gold UV light warning sticker which only covers one side, are easily lost if you don't consistently clip them to something or store them in something larger or they fall out of your hand by accident and you don't have them turned on. That makes them also more easily stolen by people with swift sticky fingers because they are so concealable, but since many consider smaller size and less weight a positive or even a major selling-point rather than a hazard, I'm not taking off any stars for that minor issue but just be aware of that potential to lose track of these lights in a crowd if you don't keep them secured when they are off and easily pilfered or lost if dropped because they can blend in well depending how they come to rest and with what colors of what materials around them. Also, these are more suited for people with small to medium size hands without any medical issues. People with arthritis or nerve damage to any extend may find that small size impossible to hold onto and favor purchasing a much larger more standard sized light thats more easy to grip and stay gripped in their hand with less effort or focus on holding it a particular way.2. PIN-SPOT VIDEO GAME CHARACTER SURPRISE: If the color consistency or illumination evenness of the light matters at its pin-point spotlight extreme zoom in setting, then you might not like this light so much because at that zoom point, you can clearly make out an exact blown-up reproduction of the shape of the LED chip used by the light with clearly defined squarish dark edges and inner lines.that looks like a character out of a video game or a strange battery gas-gauge indicator. No points off for this ether because this is a common downfall of the zoom focusing methods it seems of all the recent super high powered LED chip based flashlights. But who to blame, the chip maker or the flashlight maker for this? Probably since it's more difficult for the flashlight makers to address such an item than the chip-makers, this may be more of a function of the failure of the manufacturers of the LED chip to include any kind of built-on diffusion lens integrated onto the output side of the LED light chips. Something that should be looked into, but I can't fault the flashlight maker for because they honestly reproduce the light that is given to them at this zoom where the obscuring of this shape at wider zoom levels happens as a function of how optical zoom for this kind of light is obtained with maintaining a very even consistency of illumination across the image which will force a blaring of the input to the zoom at all but the 1:1 passthrough pin-spot setting. Some people may find this fascinating (I do) rather than annoying anyways.

Very Handy for antique and estate sales
I purchased this to help me identify Vaseline glass and other kinds of phosphorescent glassware. It works incredibly well for that purpose and causes a very visible glow. The only thing I don't like about the flashlight is that it alternates between the two wavelengths by clicking the same button; there aren't individual buttons or a switch to keep it on a particular wavelength. But since there are only two options in addition to being off, it's not that big of a deal. Especially considering how inexpensive the flashlight is.It feels pretty durable in the hand. I've dropped it multiple times and I haven't managed to damage the casing or the lens.Overall, I'm incredibly happy with this purchase

Extremely versatile UV flashlight
When coupled with a modified version of the Mag-Mate clamp (pictured), this flashlight allows extreme versatility for curing UV adhesives like Loctite's 4306 UV flashcure cyanoacrylate. The high energy 365nm wavelength coupled with its brightness at close range cures this type of adhesive in under 15 seconds, and allows both a spot cure for wire and subassembly work as well as large area curing either for multiple small devices or large areas that are being joined to other large areas. Just position as many flashlights as you need and adjust the focus. An additional benefit is the fact that the lights can be powered in-place. This allows fixturing without having to tear down the rig in order to change out the batteries. Not that you could with these; the battery is sealed inside. These lights can be powered by the USB input while operating, so there is no problem with assembly jobs that take hours. However, they do run hot after about 20 minutes, so some kind of low flow forced air for cooling is a good idea. They do operate normally while plugged in. Also, being able to have the internal battery charge itself once I turn the light off without having to disassemble it is a real boon to my productivity at work.I wanted to give this five stars, but there are some quirks that make this device less than perfect. Brightness can be variable from device to device, and some will never show a full charge no matter how long you leave them connected.Still, for less than $15 each it's nice to know I can do a job that took several $150 units to do before.Equipment list:This flashlight (of course!): $14MAG-Mate MX20FLZP02 Flexible Flashlight Holder with Magnetic Base, Black (modified with 6-32 screw and nut, and slim vacuum tube clamp): $17Amazon Basics USB 2.0 Extension Cable - A-Male to A-Female Adapter Cord - 6.5 Feet (2 Meters): $6

I keep it in my car, I'm a glass hunter
Friend at work got me into Uranium Glass hunting and suggested this "torch". Necessary for glass hunters because of the 2 different levels of uv light. Some glass that glows, can only been noticed under one or the other, but both.Good weight, wrist strap and doesn't eat batteries up. Definite recommendation.

Eh.
It's a very nice light. It's bright and the range is far BUT THE CONNECTION IS TERRIBLE! Most of the time the flashlight will continuously keep dulling out or turning off and you'll have to hit it over and over to make it start back working. Very irritating 😭

Works toooo good
I purchased this to use with my uv resin for crafts. But out of curiosity and seeing other benefits of the light, I went around my house, lights off, shining this light everywhere. Only to end up being grossed out by the unseen. This had made me wipe everything down with bleach now. Most importantly GREAT PRODUCT WORKS WELL.

Very strong and bright excellent quality.
I purchased these items for Mexico to check for cleanliness of rooms and to pull Stones off the beach. I have purchased a light like this previously and it was in no way as strong aluminous or well built. I hope this manufacturer produces more for I would like to buy some again.
