I used this item to replace a 4 pin fluorescent bulb in a Hampton Bay wall sconce light fixture located at the top of a stair well. I purchased the 3500 K color which is very nice. It also brighter than the previous CFL bulbs that I used, which is great. The light emitting piece rotates, so I am able to shine a light directly through the fixture glass, or rotate it so that the light emits toward the ceiling (which is what I preferred). I’ve only had it installed now for a few days, so I cannot comment it’s life span yet.I was fed up with replacing the CFL bulbs and was considering replacing the whole fixture. I figured I would at least investigate if they had LED replacements. I chose this item because of the shorter length compared to other products that I found. Bottom line, I’m very happy with this product.
