Lit up my darkness
I liked everything about it. Dead easy to install, even the fiddley to put on the top only took a couple of minutes. The brightness is just right. If I ever need another one would buy again

Great little grow light
Received this very quickly.. Arrived next day despite estimated arrival being a week later. Very happy with it.. Hopefully it'll bring the seedlings on in leaps and bounds...

Cheap bulb, but works fine.
Does the job. My seedlings are happy under this 11w tube might get another to link up with it.Only gripe is the bulb looks a bit cheap and fragile. Not like my old one which was quality all round, but this will suffice. Overall I can't really moan as it's doin it's job well atm.

Could Be Improved
Although these are sort of OK cost-wise for the home gardener, they could be much better. I have bought 4 of these now to hang in a wire shelving unit for seedlings and crops like pea shoots. I've had three up and working for a while and they've been great, but I have struggled (being a 7 stone weakling) with the clips, from which you hang the lights with cable ties. They are a menace to get on and you scratch the unit into the bargain. The fourth one is currently being prepped to hang and, although I got one clip on, my much stronger daughter is struggling with the second one too. The manufacturer should do something about this, because, although I would like more of these units, this aspect puts me off. The unit itself is a little flimsy, but it does do the job it's meant to do if you can put it together. I have three of them linked to switch on and off together, but so far have failed with the timer we have, which isn't doing the job automatically. I suppose that's a separate issue. Aren't all these things supposed to make our lives easier? ... Update: My daughter has failed to get the second clip on. Now I must wait for my 5'11", much, much stronger husband to have a go. If, like me, you are 4'11" and slightly built, I suggest you decide if you want to "clip wrangle" before you buy these units.
