My hair is quite thin and my scalp is easily burned. I don't really care for hats and I look dumb in baseball caps and this style looks ok and fun on me. This hat fits well while still allowing me to wear a pony still. It's lightweight, can easily be folded for travel and has the strap to keep it from blowing off. Overall a good hat!

My hair is long so I like to wrap it up in a bun. The fact that this sun hat has an opening in back for your ponytail is perfect. I slip my bun (with barrett) through the opening, and I'm ready to go. Of course the design frames my face well. And it folds flat to fit in my backpack. That is a plus. Worth every penny.

I ordered four of these hats for our sisters’ reunion. Kayak, canoe, beach, fishing and touring - we wore them for all of it. They kept the sun off of us and they kept us cool. The neck strap is great for when it gets windy. Fit my head perfectly. I brought mine on my cruise. Love the option for the ponytail on the back. Only complaint is that the brim is super floppy but It still looked cute.
