Look ok on my Rebel 1100 - but definitely not secure. Way too easy to steal. decent storage room.
Shipped w/o tie down strips - and on bag had a quick disconnect clip backward. No heat shield on bottom of right bag - 2 inches about exhaust pipe.

These side bags are a value for the price. Their vintage look compliments almost any machine.Mine are employed on a Triumph unit single and they really add to its vintage look. I recommend using an extra waterproofing such as Scotchguard or the like. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.

Buy a saddlebag bracket
Didn't see any saddle bar brackets, by the same company, but the quality of the material is high. Very sturdy. No sag as advertised. Looks GREAT. Only thing it's missing is some kind of bundle with a "universal" saddlebag bracket. I'm impresed by the product and wish I could buy an important piece of hardware from the same HQ manufacturer.Mine touch the shocks but nothing that rotates(05 Vulcan 500) Also the logo/branding is lame. Its not very visible, but the design is lame. Not looking for skulls or anything flashy. Just the logo maybe. I highly recommend this product.Pictures attached: It's dark but the pictures nicecnc uploaded are accurate.
