6 Shelf Pistol Rack

Got this for a small safe I use for my carry guns. It will hold revolvers best. Semi autos go in upside-down good but want to slip back out right side up. Full size would probably rest on the magazine and stand, but the concession I got is it will hold my sub compacts in their holsters.

I bought two to fit inside of a pistol safe. This one was going to hold all of my carry appropriate sizes. As the inside dimensions of the safe are size limited, I needed to make sure everything was going to fit comfortably inside and this one fit the bill perfectly.1) I was concerned that these would be too tall for the internal space needed to hold the handguns but also be practical and usable. They're fine height-wise and my plan otherwise would have been to shorten the legs. I didn't have to. In fact it worked out perfectly as I could keep mags underneath as needed.2) They are coated. If you're uber concerned about keeping your finishes pristine you shouldn't be storing this way anyway. Because I carry and holster and shoot and bag and strip and otherwise USE my guns, this is a super convenient way to stand store a gun after a long day on the belt. The coating is not marshmallow, because that's really not the thing for this anyway, but its softer than bare metal. Lets just say it inspires confidence and leave it at that.3) The slots are nice and wide. They're big enough that I leave my guns canted slightly to the left as I'm a righty. This makes them both easy to see and identify and to grab off the rack without having to needle through two others (Operation style).4) They're lightweight. I'd be hesitant to say they were 'durable' per se, but I have a hard time thinking that would be relevant anyway. For the purpose they are made they are adequately strong. To support the weight of 6 loaded and full-sized pistols in a stable and accessible manner, it does what it does and does it fine.5) Yes they work upside down and right side up (the handguns I mean). I prefer right side up and though some of my handguns look like they would work better upside down they still manage to hold well in the right side up orientation as is my preference.I bought these cause they were the least expensive in the size that I needed. Because I knew they perform a very simple task I was confident these would work out fine and sure enough they did. Buy. Buy two.

Nothing to dislike about this rack. All my handguns fit perfectly from my Glock 43X to my M&P .380 and my two revolvers!!Very sturdy, strong metal rack that I think will last for YEARS! Great purchase. Makes a change to buy great quality workmanship literally sight unseen.

Fits in my safe just fine, but the spacing is too narrow to fit a S&W N-frame revolver. Fits double-stack Berettas/Glocks/etc., however. I have a second rack from a different manufacturer that I'll hang on to for the large revolvers.

For such an inexpensive item, it does what it's supposed to. The shape may not be perfect for every handgun, between micro-compacts, full size pistols, pistols with lights, etc, don't expect a perfectly aligned row of grip frames. But everything bigger than a mouse .380 has fit on the rack. Nice coating keeps everything scratch free.

Such a simple little rack and it works so well. No more pile of handguns in the safe.

Hard to get all my pistols to balance on the rack. Annoying how they fall off when grabbing one out. Especially with it full.

I never saw the use for these until I had rust develop on my guns. This allows them to be up and off surfaces which could hold moisture to their surfaces. Non marking, non damaging coating. I like these. They also will allow my safe to hold more stuff. Win/Win.
