Strong smell and leaves a white residue not ideal for fabric

Simple to operate and reliable. My only criticisms are that the machine is the noisiest that I have ever used (out of half a dozen over the years) and the "on-off" spout is so stiff that you get a showering of juice onto your clothes as you turn it on or off. Both design issues that should be simple to solve. But good value for money
