Lab Created Synthetic Blue Star Sapphire Oval Cabochon Loose Stones from 5x3mm - 12x10mm

I loved the weight,it felt natural in my hand was amazed by the neat looking yet there inner textures, only experienced can quickly identify the deference.

This stone was really nice and exactly as the picture showed. I bought the TSNjewelry Genuine Blue Star Sapphire Sterling Silver Ring with Diamond Accents, which was a nice ring but the star sapphire in it that was terrible. I was going to send it back but realized getting a new one was just as much of a crap shoot in regards to the quality of the star sapphire and that I might want to just replace the gem itself, which I did. The gem I was sent in the ring, was flat and not domed like the pictured showed. This made a big difference in the star showing up in dim light and the location of the star was way off center. To make the star look center the ring had to be tilted so about 70 degrees from the eye which made it hard to see very well at all. If you know anything about the star sapphire you know that its all about quality. The gems range in value from $5 to $50,000 and the difference between a $10,000 gem and a $20 gem isn't always noticeable to an on looker at all. The really good ones sparkle in even dim lighting, the bad ones need to be directly under a clear skied sun. Also the sharpness and strait lines in the star are a sign of quality, wavy lines happen in most gems but how wavy is key. The depth of the star as it seems almost impossibly floating inside the gem also makes for a great quality. The shape and size of the gem too. I was able to easily bend the mounting tines out and the sizing of the gem I ordered here was exactly as described and it fit perfectly in the setting and turned an unremarkable ring into something people are asking about everywhere my girlfriend goes with it on so far. Very nice gem for the money.

This is very small (as advertised) but the stone is very dark and really doesn't reflect. I cannot recommend it. I should send it back but for price it's not worth the effort.

Lovely piece of artwork for a lab created stone. Beautiful depth of color the asterism is very visible under bright light the lines are a bit wavy but still beasutiful and for the price and synthetic I can't grouse. it makes a beautiful addition to any gem collection and a nice center piece for a jewelry arrangement or ring!

Highly disappointed. Its supposed to be a star sapphire it Doesnt show even in direct light

It's pretty. would like the star to be more visible, but it's there. remaining color is deep blue

It was a nice piece, it had a double wiggery star though. But its nice, for a homemade pendant.
