USB C to 3.5mm Audio Aux Jack cable, Type C adapter to 3.5mm male headphone stereo cable car compatible with Samsung Galaxy S23 S22 S21 S20 Ultra Note Plus, Huawei P40 P30 Pro (1 Meter, Black)

I used this to connect a Samsung S23+ to the audio input socket in the car, so I can listen to music or podcasts on my phone through the car speakers. It mostly works well, but every so often it cuts out, and I have to unplug it from the phone and plug it back in to get it to work again. I am unsure why, and was going to blame the cable, until I found a similar problem with an adapter, so I suspect it might be the phone. Is the phone messing about with plugged in devices in general, trying to force us to use expensive Bluetooth speakers/earphones? Is it a slightly dodgy socket on the phone (I’ve not had any problems charging it)? Or a slightly dodgy cable and very sensitive phone socket? I don’t want to give a low rating to the cable if it is the phone’s fault, but at the same time I can’t recommend it to people with this phone.

I brought this because of the price but upon delivery found out the type c part wouldn't even fit in the port. So unable to use. Every other type c connection fits so this was not a type c cable. Have since had to buy another one from elsewhere.

Plug it in and plays for 2 seconds then cuts out and does this repeatedly.
