Violin Shoulder Rest for 4/4-3/4 Adjustable Pad Soft EVA Foam and Hard Rubber

My daughter finds this as helped support her learning alot.

I bought this one as a replacement of my forte secondo, I have been with that one for more than tree years but I never got used to it, my neck and back were hurting after an hour of practicing, never could improve my intonation and vibrato due to shoulder rest constantly moving upwards.I tried a similar one from one of my orchestra's mate and I notice the difference straight away, so I decided to order this one. As soon as I received it I tried it and definitely it was what I needed, I can feel my wrist and hand with more freedom and I can do vibrato without being afraid of dropping off my violin, I can make position changes and more accurate crossing strings.Please notice that the feet are not the original ones, I decided to swap them with the forte secondo ones as the shoulder rest kept falling down with original feet. As I notice the shoulder rest may not be the best premium quality but definitely it works for my body and violin improvement.

I never had the situation were it unlatched while wearing it, so I'm happy.I used it for a couple of months and still looks pristine.The small foots aren't quite stable as the kuhn one that I have used for years but it's a good value for money, in my opinion.

Bought this to compare to my Kun violin rest. It is great for the price, unfortunately for me I couldn't raise one side high enough for my violin to sit more comfortable. However, it's not a bad spare in case anything happens to my main rest.

Bought as a gift

Does not come with fitting instructions and a little difficult to work out however with he help of you tube I managed. Needs adjustment to find the position which suits you and that takes time. Good product however, not flimsy and very good value for money.

It is good and comfortable but not strong enough

Fits violin well it does have some adjustments for width if needed. It’s light and comfortable, the array ment s to the violin are side rubber so no causing no damage, easy to fit on. It seems a bit flimsier than the Kun rest I have used but is a quarter of the price and does the job perfectly.
