This is really nice looking, and a good size for being out for a while. The chain is a little flimsy, but that doesn't bother me too much, and it would be nice if the strap was removable, but neither of these things makes me want to dock it a star.

I suffer from dehydration and kidney stones, so I bought this to help encourage me to drink more. It has really done the job and helped measure my daily liquid intake. It also looks great and many have commented on it at my local gym.

Really love this item. The ( new smell ) got rid of that by cleaning it with strident tablets, rinsed thoroughly twice. The blanket did come away a little but I solved it by tucking it back in with my penknife. Easily done. With the little problems solved its just perfect and just what I wanted.Took it on Holliday to the mountains in Austria and we had a heat wave. With the blanket dry and in the full sun 35/40degrees the water became lukewarm in 2/3hours. When the blanket is wet the water stayed cool for at least 4hours. As I said perfect :)I hope this helps someone In a positive way as this really is a great water canteen.

Far west Logo make it look like a children's item ,A plain sandy colored like what I was looking for may sell much more. But thats my opinionBut not to take anything away from this super item….

It's totally brilliant. I only use it to carry water, not juice. I fill it through a funnel. I don't want to discolour or stain the outside fabric. It's also admired.

Prior to buying this I bought the cheaper kind you can get which is a plastic bottle and only skinned with a ring of metal and that lasted a year until the screw cap just cracked on the very top one day when doing it up.So I looked for a replaced in the same style and one that would hopefully last. I thought this would being solid aluminium and you can buy replacement screw caps for it should they break, However I've only owned it two months and the lining has started to come away around the spout / mouth piece and this was with only light use and following the cleaning advice of lukewarm water and washing up liquid and then shaking it to clean.In every other respects this canteen is great, really well made, strong and feels built to last years but the lining is rubbish! it looks and feels just like ayellow translucent tape and clearly isn't tough or it wouldn't have started coming off after only two months!It's also worth mentioning while the canteen itself is solid aluminium the collar the cap screws onto is not. It's plastic, It isn't shown in the pictures nor mentioned and while it's nicer to drink from as it is a softer material and doesn't hold cold temperatures etc, it is also a higher risk of where the product is likely to break on you! And should it crack it is not replaceable like the cap itself is, a picture should at least have shown this.

I am very happy with the water canteen I have received. It is the perfect size for camping and the covering makes it look and feel special.

Very shoddily made, would not last the rigors of trail and outdoors. Literally sprung apart when dropped. Don't pay 25 pounds for this. Worth ten pounds, if that. Sorry, but the plain truth.

Product arrived early. Looked fantastic! He was thrilled with it and can't wait for the weather to be nice enough to take it hiking. Looks and feels very durable. I like the fact that it isn't plastic inside.

I bought it and the fabric was pulled up from the aluminum ring when it arrived. I contacted Laken who sent me a replacement immediately. They have a 1 year warranty from their website so I think it's definitely well built for a water bottle.For a few weeks it has held up great. It is completely watertight and even holds pressure from carbonated beverages. You can put alcohol or sugary drinks in it, though I would make sure to rinse them out ASAP afterwards. Soaking it with soapy water then soaking it with baking powder in water would be the best way to remove any tastes.The evaporative cooling actually works. Soak all of the fabric, then set it in the shade and ideally the wind, and you will have noticeably cooler water than air temperature. It's no replacement for freezing your water (remove the cap first) but especially in the mildly hot weather we've been having it's been great.The bad: The fabric will get dirty, it might even pull up from the sides, and besides glue I don't know how you would go about fixing that. The chain that keeps the cap on the bottle is pretty weak, and the links on the chain have opened several times. If first link is flipped up on the bottle when you put the cap on, it will keep the bottle from sealing. If they used a smaller ring it would not happen.Ultimately though, it's kind of expensive for a water bottle but well worth it. Very durable product with a great company supporting it.

Love it ! Well built, perfect for camping and hiking trips. Majority of canteen is metal with plastic in all the right places. I was concerned being made of aluminum for contamination to the water being held in it. The inside is coated !! Nicely done.

I bought these canteens for my four grandsons for their outdoor excursions whetherthey are playing in the back yard, hiking or camping. They are well made and BPA free.The canteens are lightweight and made of aluminum with some kind of inner coating that islisted on the product description online. There is no odor and I have no concern about anychemicals leaching into the water. They are made in Spain.There is one small problem with the fabric around the drinking area. It has some loosethreads that could cause unraveling of the fabric. I suggest cutting the threads andputting some kind of tape (fabric or duct tape) if a problem develops. On the lower neck of themetal spout (by the fabric) of two canteens, we noticed a small rough area.. Myhusband had no difficulty smoothing that rough area off.The strap is very adjustable and of quality design and material. The cap screws on withoutproblem and there is a quality chain that secures the cap to the canteen.I am hoping that my grandsons will use them indefinitely. They love them.I am very happy with the product!
