These curtains are awesome. They are thick and well made plus they are truly black out curtains.

They are very nice material and block heat and light. They work great for us!

These drapes do just what they say. I got the white, and they are a true white. Also, they do actually block out the light. On other brands I'd tried, their white was too see-thru. This brand however has the black on one side and the white fabric on the other, d the white fabric is thick enough to cover the black successfully, so that the white color isn't tainted.You may wish to get something to place along the top, even just a pretty long scarf or any piece of fabric would do, just in order to completely block out all light that will come up between the rod and the wall. But that isn't a design failure or brand failure. These are totally wonderful. Because of pain some nights I don't sleep as well. These give me the flexibility I need so if necessary I can catch up on missed sleep when it's daytime.

As someone who has purchased too many curtains, I have to say that I am very impressed with these. I ordered the cappuccino color.Pros:- Each order comes with 2 panels. This is very rare, so I assumed it only came with 1 so I ended up purchasing 8 panels. I ended up using all 8 to make them look fuller.-the fabric is surprisingly soft and heavy so they hang nicely. Easy to open and close.- they are blackout. I do have a roller shade behind them that I did NOT put down in the picture. When just using the shade I do get some light at the top, but it really depends on your windows, rod, etc. Ps. I have a very bright house.- easy to get wrinkles out on a steam cycle. I put them in the dryer, but I feel like they would iron or hand steam very easily.Cons:- the panels were different lengths. The differences are subtle enough that I can live with it, especially for the price.- panels can be very staticky. I must have had some loose hair on my sweater when putting them up and noticed my hair immediately clung to them. They seem to be better after putting them in the dryer with a dryer sheet.- lack of colors. I wish they had more to choose from. I ordered cappuccino (shown in pictures) and biscotti beige for another room. The cappuccino color looks similar to color on site. Biscotti beige is more camel in color to me.

I needed to replace old room-darkening curtains on six windows, and I rent, so I am very happy I could find such high-quality drapes at a good price. The material is nice and the workmanship is excellent, with well-placed, wide back tabs that allow smooth movement on the rod when opening or closing. The curtains really keep out the light and although there is a stiff north wind tonight, that end of the room is not as cold as before.The packaging didn't leave the drapes too crinkled, so I am just letting the wrinkles hang out. And there was no nasty chemical smell like you get with the blackout curtains that have that rubbery backing (which disintegrates in the sunlight, eventually). If I end up moving to a place with different-sized windows, I will definitely look to Nicetown again.

Heavy, full black out curtains, great for drafts. A true stark white. Material is smooth- kind of like outdoor curtains which did not work for our primary bedroom. Bonus- Pet hair doesn’t stick. 2 panels shown , very full. Will need to be steamed to look better.

I needed some 100% blackout curtains and these don’t disappoint. I’ve purchased other colors in the past, but I needed some for the front room that faces the street. Due to HOA rules, those curtains must be white. Unfortunately, the white “blackout” curtains have a black layer of fabric on the back-side. But after trying other options, I have decided to use these, but put them up backwards. I have a more decorative pair of curtains that face the room on a traditional curtain rod above the window; but they aren’t blackout. So I use these curtains on a spring locking tension bar inside the window frame. The room is now completely pitch black!These are FABRIC curtains that are thick, soft to the touch, and have a heavy hang. And again, the 100% blackout is one of the best.I did have to return a pair due to a stain on one of them. But I will be replacing them with the same product.

Easy installation! Sheer but the grey colour gives it a good balance of light and shade as well as privacy. The grey is a nice light grey and blends in nicely with white walls. Light weight. Easily slides back and forth.

I have these on 3 windows, they're 100% blackout and look great. Haven't noticed any quality issues at all. The only problem is a bit of a design flaw, in my opinion. The rod pocket is very tall which is great, it makes it bunch easily etc, but there's no fabric above it, which means unless you can install your curtain rod pressed up against the ceiling, there's going to be a light gap at the top. I solved this by sewing a horizontal seam to divide the rod pocket in half and I put the rod through the lower half, but not everyone can just do that.
